Mod not working, pawns getting stuck when they're on cleaning job

Yeah, it's a very diff thing nowadays, but the mod compat is still a problem depending on what you want, just very far from what it used to be.

Comparatively, me & a friend have so few desyncs with our ~30-40 modlist that allegedly even the MP mod devs are jealous, but luckily the devs auto-update every 1-3 days, as far as GitHub is concerned.

Ah, I haven't tried multiplayer for a couple of years. I've heard it's a lot better since then. But mod compatibility takes enough time to figure out that it demotivates me just thinking about it.

If only it wasn't totally broken in multiplayer.

"Cleaning Priority (continued)" has been a good replacement for me.

I had the "standing still" problem too. Fixed by removing Mod. Its a shame because this is easily one of my favourite QoL mods.

Unsure if this conflicts with another mod, but I had my pawns standing still while trying to clean after I set a cleaning zone.

Removing this mod made my pawns clean again, so there might be some other issues that conflict on 1.5

Nice. I'm not having problems (I don't play with Prison Labor) but that looks good and I'm going to try it myself!

Had conflict with Prison labor. Pawns keep cleaning in the prison. Switched to https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2018316486&searchtext=Cleaning+priority . Seems working now

It works perfectly for me. I hope it will for you too, until this is updated (and I take down my temp). I'm not gonna do any work on errors etc as of now (maybe if we know this will not get updated, but of course it will).

I can't wait for this mod to be updated for 1.5, it is so necessary.

@Side1iner itd be cool if you could upload the mirror. Seems Hatti hasn't updated any mods in a bit, so if there aren't any problems itd be great to have. Been losing my mind at pawns cleaning areas I have set to home for fire prevention but don't need to be cleaned

I've made my own local copy of this. Is an update on it's way? Otherwise I can upload that in the meantime. It seems to work without issues.

Well it doesn't work with 1.5 save. pawns just stop cleaning.

Dubs bad hygine has a setting called 'Prioritise Cleaning Indoors' which functions well with zero overhead. This mod is still useful if you never want them to clean outside tho or want to keep a wide area of conrete (like a landing pad) clean.

Via testing, your Cleaning zone must include the Home Zone, or your pawns will do the standing->clean->cancel loop for any clean job outside of the Home Zone.. Even when your pawns are set to Unrestricted movement.

The Clean indoor Restriction of Bad Hygene didn't really change much for me. but clearing the Home zone should make all your cleaners freak out.

the pawns-standing-wanting-to-clean problem seems to be indeed related to dubs bad hygiene's prio indoor cleaning. disabling the dubs option solved the cleaning area problem

whenever i click "Build roof" the setting ive been using forever my pawns dont clean at all they only clean on home and when i make my own cleaning area which is a pain any help?

@Neitronus thanks for response. Dunno if the that option in Dubs Hygine is enabled per default - using that mod too and never had any issues with it but never changed any settings in that mod.

But will look into that for compability fix, if possible

i tried that several times and it didn't help, but changing that mod option for Dubs Hygiene sure did fix that for me: Not a single time my colonist was stuck trying to clean the area outside allowed-one again. So atleast partly this issues reside in conflicting directives for pawn to clean or not to clean areas from different mods.

The issue @Patient mentioned that you sometimes have to reassign the cleaningArea should be fixed too.

Just released an update that fixes an issue with pawns not cleaning at all if the base is fully enclosed.
This might fix other issues as well cause.
I´ve seen the bug with pawns cleaning one tile over and over on streams but i havnt been able to reproduce it by myself in all my playtime to analys it unfortunately.

To all those with infinite loops with colonists trying to clean where they shouldn't: Disable "prefer cleaning indoors" option in mod options for Dubs Hygiene, it's in a second tab.
