try the jet train DLC on those bends. (idk where to get the jet train)

HSTs are invincible ;) Maybe it;s because they're longer and heavier? I'm no physicist :P

that's strange, I did a class 37 at 60 and it just tipped over and derailed on the first bend

I did a HST at 70, so I think it's fine ;) But tilty though :P

earlier, I actually ran a 7f through the bends before brookfields at 48mph and actually made it.

Well, if you look at my 3 routes, they are all managable branch lines. I am only now thinking of a short mainline.
Advice, definitely start small :) I see you may like smaller steam locos, so maybe a freight yard or something like that may be a good place to start.

Just drove the whole length of the route with my 14xx, enjoyed a lot of it. only problem was, even following the 15mph speed limit before brookfields, the loco was screaming in pain on the corners, tilting a little. I don't know if the corners there are banked, but aside from that, great little route to run tank engines on.

it is not loading on the route editor list

Some people had this problem. Try loading the route editor and placing your trains in that way if QD doesnt work. If not, look further down this thread as some had solutions. Im sorry for your inconvenience but thank you for giving it a go!
