Did the July 20th update speed up the spike sphere tech? It feels faster than it did last time I played (yeah, over a year and a half ago), and if that's the case, it feels like the new speed makes it harder to stay on walls and ceilings going over bumps. I'm lowering the speed manually, but if it was one of the changes, knowing the old speed number would be helpful because it was just right.

No new hotkeys or alternate activation methods here, sorry. Give the techs a try and see if you might prefer them anyway.

Wonderful mod, tho it seems to create issues with the Class Spheres from RPG growth. (example the Wizzard's Sphere will no longer move). Would be nice if you could possibly make a patch or something so the two mods would play nice together.

1.3 has broken modded head techs, so we can't use the spheres at all. I really don't want to unsub from this because the techs are actually useful and I have a lot of fun with the rocket boots. Can you fix the head techs for 1.3, per chance?

Hmm, got a weird problem: in a last spheres obstacle course it seems like tech just wasn't applied to me... I can't turn into sphere, my head slot is blocked and empty, thus I can't finish obstacle course to actually get this tech unlocked. Any ideas?

I seem to have a problem. I was trying your mod out and the game converted to Adaptable Slime Sphere hovering as if my guy was unfolded and walking around. And he won't change back.

I really love the mod, but could you consider making a version without the low acceleration on running shoes? It feels so weird to just be walking around my base and constantly feeling like my feet are sticky. It's a good idea for balancing the speed, but it just doesn't work well when you're just puttering about your lair.
Even if it's a separate mod version that you wanna call easy mode or anything... please? I'd love to just edit it for myself, but I don't know how to access the files for workshop mods like that. >_<

Running is soo slow at the start I feel like shift walking is faster at the start.

I like most of the changes you made, I do not however like high jump or the slow acceleration on running shoes. Running shoes is also too similar to sprint. I suggest you make triple jump the default(the one that gets unlocked by doing the quests) and replace running shoes with dash but with some slight modifications e.g. slightly more range, energy cost and no cd.

Part of your description is incorrect. That this isn't compatible with other tech mods isn't true. It won't be compatible with most other vanilla tech modifiers. In the event they're just patching JSON, probably compatible depending upon load order(may well throw off balance). In the event they're hooking functions... depends.

But if the tech mod is adding new techs(what I prefer and thus what I do), then there is no issue. Not everyone would understand that explanation, but you should probably clarify that this is incompatible with vanilla tech replacements exclusively.

Also if you ever wanted to make your techs independent of vanilla without any hassle for people to acquire them(simply having them present already in the tech console, possibly with conditions), I'd be glad to help.

I was always disappointed with the techs in the vanilla game; they were to simple and situational. While the sprint-dash and double jump were useful, everything else was either situationa lor gimicky. This mod, however, shows promise, and I intend to use it in all of my future Starbound modded runs.

By the way, may I make a suggestion? I always looked at the sonic sphere tech and thought about, what else, Sonic the Hedgehog. However, the way that he uses his roll allows him to damage enemies while in a curled form. Perhaps you could find a way to make the sonic sphere an offensively capable tech? The way I see it, it would charge like normal, but if it hits an enemy at a high speed after charging, it would bounce off of the enemy and deal damage and knockback to whatever was hit. I'm not a modder, so I don't know how such a thing would work, but I feel as though this would be a fun an intersting way to make spheres more usable. Thanks for reading, friend!

can we get a nonreplacer version? they look cool as hell but i'd like to go back to the other techs when i want/need to.
