the building isn't missing, it's not a bug, just on the one side the castel isn't directly build on the ground, simply because a hill isn't flatt. Nothing to do with me, or a fast-travel.
Not the first mal i see that with bigger structures and mods.
It's up to you if you want fix it or not. There is approx 1 m on the opposite side of the gate where you can see under the castel, also the tour don't touch the ground. I know, lot of person will say, oh, this doesn't matter to me, but it does to me.

@ Vattende Yes, disappearing building sections can be very disturbing. It does sometimes happen, but I find that fast traveling away and then back fixes this. If you look at my version history, I have tried to fix this again and again. It still sometimes happens. Try the fast travel fix before you give up.

i istalled the mod today, and visited the castle.
My wish was an old castle like this, and i like the location lot. The castle is fine, the entrance very nice, and the camp maybe a bit neat but a great add.
Then a walked around the castle, and there is unfortunately a great *STOP* for me. The backside of the castle i badly incorporate in the landscape. The towers are floating, and i can see under the castle. This may be not a big thing for some, but i know this will hurt me each mal when i look at it.
I think it would be nice and possible to fix this. Add some rocks maybe.
For me it's an immersion cut so, sorry.
I love realy the nice little village, and the whole situation, but if not fixed this mod will not be for me. :steamsad:

the olnly other thinbg this mod needs is to add 2 more beds and a chest to the downstairs area of the manor house for the option of adding kids other than that its perfect

The lever for the gate is in the little stable behind a hay bale. I blame the Foresworn. ;)

@ roberhoff I'm sorry, but I will hold off testing for the 1.9 update until it is out of beta. They may still make some changes and then I'd have to do the work again. Or (and I hope this is the case) they will have ironed out any bugs that effect house mods.

I realy appreciate your effort.. but my game crashes when i travel to manor.. maybe it's not compatible with 1.9 patch..

Are there any DLC's required with this? Or is it vanilla? Just wondering, because I have all 3 DLC's, but wanted to start a Vanilla game profile and want to know if I can use this home in that profile too.

@ Delta Tier One Sorry for the slow response, I've been moving house IRL. When I happen upon grey faces in someone else's mod, I just go in the CK and fix it. I may have to fix it again with updates, but it is so easy I don't mind.

how do you fix grey faces? i have several other mods for NPCs and their creators have neglected this issue...perhaps if i present them with the solution they can fix it

No, didnt kill anything inside...there was an immediate attack from bandits though. The guards from the fort helped me and then, like I mentioned, Edgar turned hostile and then he rest of his posse followed. Its ok. Ill come back to the fort to see if they are stil upset at me. Will let you know.

@ RexJayden Have you tried an earlier save? Edgar is really a sweetie who shares the player's faction. One other person had this problem but I've never found the cause. Are you killing chickens? Goats? Did you insult the dog?

Edgar Wolfhunter's (old guard in tower with tent) attacked me and then all of the guards in the fort attacked me. I barely escaped with my life as I chose not to kill them since I thought they were on my side. Is it just too late now? Do I have to go back and kill these folks to use the property? Id rather not but Faendal and I can if we have to. Really like all of your mods though Ticklefeather!

You might want to check the base if some of the towers that are still dissapearing.
I bet they are still marked "is full LOD."

@ mcshmevin Look to the description above. It's in the second paragraph from the top. But to help decrease your frustration, the lever is in the stable to the right of the gate. Behind a hay bale.

I tired looking at comments further down, found 1 but i still cant find THE STUPID GATE CONTROL! AT LEAST DONT MAKE IT SO HARD TO FIND!

Sorry for so many posts. ;_; Just went ahead and double checked again, turned off everything but Roriksberg, either it's conflicting with my system in general or something but I can't access the satchel still when it's on.

Side note I forgot to mention (sorry for the double post) I actually checked with two of my saves, the newer one where I first encountered the problem and an older one that had the satchel working fine. Coudn't access it on either and I had some things in the satchel in the older one's save, so it probably is conflicting with something I have or idk.

Mm, might be. If it's just me it's a simple thing to just not have the mod on, but idk. Ugh, that moment you forget what else you were going to say, anyways. I'll check it a bit later to see if it's just the mod conflicting with something else. Time for quests.

Ok, just checked in the CK. I copied the Rare item satchel and renamed it for my mod. I only changed my copy (making it not respawn). I've been playing with this mod active for 8 months and haven't encountered the bug you've found.

Anyone else having this issue? If not, I'd have to say it is something in your saved game Whitey. I hope you are able to resove the problem.

Thanks for the heads up Whitey. I'll look in the CK and see if I changed the satchels. I try to always change the name of item I alter but I may have missed this.

Got a bug for you, for whatever reason it seems Roriksberg causes apocathary satchels to become unavalible. I would say it's only Breezehome's but that seems a bit illogical for something that was placed so far away from Whiterun, so I'm going to assume at this point that it is not only Breezehome but all alchemy tables with satchels that is being affected. Went through and tested this to make sure, but the satchel only becomes unavalible when I have Roriksberg activated. I do use other mods, but I did turn each of them off and go through testing to find the problem, so I'm fairly certain it's Roriksberg. c: Otherwise this mod is pretty beast and I'm quite sad to have it turned off. :c

@wseagers15. The gate control is in the little stable just to the right as you are standing at the gate.

i need help whenever i try to get in to the castle the gates lock me outside.
