**Not supported since 2015 Use with Caution**

Roriksberg is a fortified manor house overlooking Rorikstead. This fully walled manor house and caretaker's cottage is protected from the hostile neighbors by four towers, a portcullis and five guards.

Look behind the hay bale in the stable to open the main gate!

Exterior Features:
* walls that keep hostiles out
* seven NPCs including merchant
* all crafting stations available without zoning
* gardens
* water feature
* place of worship (8 gods represented in a tower, Talos available in secret area)
* "critters" and enclosure animals
* great views
* hostile neighbors! Start a fight from your tower!

Interior Features:
* five mannequins
* 12 weapon plaques
* 8 weapon racks
* 6 weapon display cases
* 9 player chests
* interior alchemy table with safe storage satchel
* book shelves for 198 books
* idle markers for spouse (if you use another mod to allow your spouse to move here)

Version 2.7 - Corrected "grey face" on NPC's. Sorry that took so long. I'd forgotten the problem.

Version 2.6 - Reduced aggression of retired guard in tower with tent

Version 2.5 – Removed LOD from large outside walls and towers to correct for disappearing sections, removed some grass from the courtyard due to goats, tweaked Navmesh in Manor house to encourage NPCs to go down stairs/ladder.

Version 2.4 – removed a critter spawner (fish in pond) in an attempt to reduce lag in exterior

Version 2.3 – added player storage chests in smithing/crafting tower, added enchanting table to manor house

Version 2.2 – fixed weapon plaque in armory near door over mannequin, changed number of patrolling guards, moved porch dog to aid in NPC pathing

Version 2.1 – added more idle markers in player/manor house, adjusted Navmesh to (hopefully) fix NPCs falling through porch and running into walls

Version 2 – added three guards and guard barracks

Version 1.1 – fixed lean markers

the building isn't missing, it's not a bug, just on the one side the castel isn't directly build on the ground, simply because a hill isn't flatt. Nothing to do with me, or a fast-travel.
Not the first mal i see that with bigger structures and mods.
It's up to you if you want fix it or not. There is approx 1 m on the opposite side of the gate where you can see under the castel, also the tour don't touch the ground. I know, lot of person will say, oh, this doesn't matter to me, but it does to me.

@ Vattende Yes, disappearing building sections can be very disturbing. It does sometimes happen, but I find that fast traveling away and then back fixes this. If you look at my version history, I have tried to fix this again and again. It still sometimes happens. Try the fast travel fix before you give up.

i istalled the mod today, and visited the castle.
My wish was an old castle like this, and i like the location lot. The castle is fine, the entrance very nice, and the camp maybe a bit neat but a great add.
Then a walked around the castle, and there is unfortunately a great *STOP* for me. The backside of the castle i badly incorporate in the landscape. The towers are floating, and i can see under the castle. This may be not a big thing for some, but i know this will hurt me each mal when i look at it.
I think it would be nice and possible to fix this. Add some rocks maybe.
For me it's an immersion cut so, sorry.
I love realy the nice little village, and the whole situation, but if not fixed this mod will not be for me. :steamsad:

the olnly other thinbg this mod needs is to add 2 more beds and a chest to the downstairs area of the manor house for the option of adding kids other than that its perfect

The lever for the gate is in the little stable behind a hay bale. I blame the Foresworn. ;)
