Not working :( I need to replace ruined texture to be same as grass texture. This mod not helping :( I made folder Addons\Mods\TTR\textures place ruined_texture.png in here, but no change :(( Sad

@ricowilhelm Textures in Cities Skylines should be following the "Power of 2" so for map textures you should make the textures 1024, 2048 (normal maps can't go higher) or 4096 for 4K galore. Otherwise the game will itself add or compensate for the missing part. so your 1300x1300 texture the game tries to compensate up to 2048x2048.
Might be the reason you can't get things to work. Haven't tested this Mod myself. Looks promising. :)

It doesn't work in my case. Just wanted to use a different pavement texture, so I downloaded a png image in 1300x1300 px, changed the name and put it into the folder which I created first. But it has no effect in the game.

does this work if you have a Map Theme, or does the theme overwrite this?

Found the folder. It's under steamapps/workshop/content/255710/811664974/textures. Guessing it's different for Holy Crab because your files are local, whereas ours are from the Workshop. Thanks for this great mod!!

It doesn't create a folder called "TTR". I have tried to create one myself and add png's there and changing the names without any luck. What can I do?

@Holy Crab It's the upwardroad texture, the texture that is blended with whatever road textures you use to make the asphalt itself look a certain way, not the road markings. But yeah, nvm.

ok, if only you wanna change road textures, search for a mod in the workshop, i'm pretty sure there are a plenty of them up here.

I don't know anything about the file sys on a mac, but i'll do my very best. The path to my replacement texture on my win sys is as follows
C:\Users\#myUsername#\AppData\Local\Colossal Order\Cities_Skylines\Addons\Mods\TTR\textures
(i've changed my real username to #myUsername# for security reasons, so use what ever you have to)
As i said i don't know a thing about the mac filesys, so i hope this helps

Question - as I can't get it to work - do you mean to put the files in "/ttr/texture", as you wrote in your comment, or "TTR\textures" like it's written above?? Also, I'm on a Mac, so the rilepath is a bit different from normal. Anyway, can you give us the full filename (with path) of one of your replacemtn textures? Thanks in advance.

I know i cant replace snow but i can make sand texture look like snow or for i map i needed to replace cliff texture but eithjer with that did not worked, but i think i found a solution instead of renaming for example sand_texture.png i saw that other themse who replace textures renamed them only sand.png i have to test to myself and i let you know.

if you wanna replace snow, this mod can't do this....only the textures mentioned above can be replaced.

I did everything in order: enabled the mod, got the texture from an image renamed it and save it as .png file, i put in the textures folder [ttr/texture] opened game created new map with sand wich was replaced with some kind of snow and nothing changed still the old textures ?

Did you just put your texture in the folder /ttr or did you put it in /ttr/texture, like it's written above?? Can you post the output of the debug-console here? (pressing f7)? And yes try to remove the old terraintexturereplacer folder.

Not worked for me, I activated the mod, and put pavement_texture in both folders /TTR/ and /TerrainTextureReplacer, should I remove TerrainTextureReplacer folder??

i didn't said it's a stupid question , in many comment i read, the problem's solution is to enable to mod, that's why i suggested it. anyway i'm glad it works for you now.

I do not know @Holy Crab... the texture png files are not replacing my default texture like before... even I tried to convert it to local Mod (like original mod suggession). More so for me there is no Mod in my Addon folder & never was other that 'Ambient Sound Tuner' & 'Terraform Tool'. Tell me what am I doing wrong here?
