Best map

I love this map, only issue is there's a lot of places where you can get stuck. Mainly between trees and next to the frozen square pound in front of one of the buildings (it looks like you can walk through it, but it has an impassable wall around it so you can get stuck easily).

Very pretty, nice atmosphere. I like the cozy little touches like the fishing hole and the cabins. The various things buried in the snow are cool, too :)

Things I love:
1) I love the dark blue and how it gets darker(?) with the wave because I love the colours black, blue, white and green.
2) The map is beautiful and the splatter map feels like I'm leaving behind footprints on a clear snowfield.

Things I had issues with:
1) I have found the zeds getting caught on some stuff like the wooden railings and some of them even dying on it.
2) The zed spawn points way too far away and takes too much time for them to get you which makes the map way too easy since you don't need to worry about the zeds overwhelming you.

Conclusion:
Perfect map for me to have a chill day killing some zeds without being overwhelmed while enjoying the beautiful atmosphere.

the blue tone really makes it for me. dark blue silhouettes of distant zeds look so beautiful and menacing. the orange/blue aesthetic of muzzle flash and lights looks real nice. and the sky looks fantastic :)

Amazing map, works well listening to Finnish metal bands, especially Wintersun. One problem as a couple others have pointed out, the splattermaps are huge. I kill a clot and get a blood splat for an entire wave of zeds. Other than that the atmosphere is amazing.

I love the idea of this map. A winter wonderland set in the open wild, infested with humanoid, genetically modified monsters. My two favorite things.

Only complaint is the blood splatters are just enourmous. Don't know if you have any control over that though.
Love the open areas though, really brings back memories of KF1 Farm

Nice looking map, good for endless. I noticed the blood splatters on the ground are huge and a little off putting. Is that intentional?

Really nice and great looking map! It got a little boring for me though with it just being a big open field. Maybe more rock formations or bigger cabins to add variation? Still a great map though!

Stumbled upon this map today. Ran great for me and looks amazing. I love the little easter eggs, and it's a great map to play as sharpshooter without being too easy. I also really like the precipitation. Only criticsm would be some of the collision with some of the geometry and props, and the lack of snow blowing across the plains (similar to Outpost).

The game just crashes on me whenever I attempt to play the map, only see perfomance issues in the comment section soooooo is it just me or something?

zachjd I'm sorry that is strange. I'm getting solid frame rates. I'll look into it.

Same :( 40-50 framerate max. Even putting all my graphic settings on Low and Off made no difference.

I made a small update. I hope performance is now better.

This is a beautiful map and fun to play on, but I would love it if you could find a way to optimize performance on this map better. I have a GTX 970 and on high settings I barely see my average FPS go higher than 60. Nothing unplayable, I just feel like this could be an issue for those with lower-end PCs. Other than that, really great map!

Great work on rebuilding the lighting! This was previously the only downside to this awesome map. So it's all +++ now, thanks for your work, love it!!!

I absolutely love this map. The skybox is amazing. Just a couple bugs I noticed: blood splatters aren't working properly and grass and shrubbery are bullet-proof.

·New landspace and a lot better looking material
·More snow
·Reflective ice
·More minor fixes

The map has a nice design and interesting to play but the spawns are too far apart, makes it too easy for players to pick off (Commando, Sharpshooter, Swat etc) Also the lighting seems to have an issue, I understand that its meant to be a night map but I can't even see the textures on enemies or my weapons due to the lighting (in the open area). Finally I believe the map is just too big. the fact that there are 2 trader posts 200m+ away from eachother is just a bit too much, It might be worth cutting down the map slightly and focusing on the design.

zachjd That's strange. I have solid 75fps with 1070. I'll look into it.

This map is unplayable for me and my friend. If you look in a certain direction, FPS drops to 40. Even graphic settings on Lowest and everything disabled, it still occurs. Specs: i7-6700k,1080 Ti

Stygian Emperor, I'm aware of this problem, and I will update the lighting and also make some other tweaks in near future.
