If your interest in Starbound isn't what it used to be, maybe someone in the Discord can take over maintenance for you.🤔
It can be fixed by the other mod having higher priority, though if any other mods patch the anvil animation and end up running before this one, they'll have issues as well. Never mind. I tried putting a copy of Ace's mod in my folder, with its metadata's priority to 9999, and even "including" this mod, but the Replicator problem persists.
I'm planning to find a nice dark windy spooky planet and build a haunted house base there with the decorations and things.
The Smash-O-Lantern would have been built using dark fragments that you'd collect throughout the campaign, and then upgraded into the final version with items you'd find hidden in secrets, which would reward the completionists out there who'd be interested in it.
(Here's a video of what initially would have been the Halloween Hub: https://youtu.be/_Yt83neAWR0)
Obviously in hindsight, I should have just nerfed it, or perhaps made it WAYYY more expensive that it is currently.
I crafted my own Smash-O-Lantern first (so I feel like I've earned it), and then admin-spawned a substitute with its "baseDPS" set to 11.9, resulting in the weapon's description showing an even value of 50 damage. That seems fair compared to the Skath hammer, if one thinks the Smash-O-Lantern should still be highly powerful. Not sure yet if generated hammers have higher values.
Also I was wondering if the author would be okay sending me the .pak file because I want to extract the files so I can figure out what sound file the music box in the mod uses.
I really love the hauntingly whimsical tune it belts out!
In seriousness, yes, I'm going to try and make a new, updated Halloween mod when time allows it, since all the ones I know of haven't been updated
Wait a moment, you're rolling with a Halloween modpack in july?
