This mod's instruments are lacking categories, which makes it hard for sorting mods or inventory mods to sort them out correctly, especially ones with a dedicated instrument tab, as most instruments in this mod go into the wrong tab, the instrument files need to have a category called "musicalInstrument" for this to be fixed please.

Mod's instruments lack categories. should add 'em. would be good for people using my sorting mod, or FU which integrates it. "musicalInstrument" is the one to use, same as all the vanilla ones. :D

@Alex WaveDiver | There are many simple ways to do it. The simpliest and easiest is simply making instruments much more expensive to buy, otherwise you can include a crafting cost of using another vanilla instrument in order to craft your instrument + pixel charge "or" do it like some other popular instrument mods did and add them to rare chest loot tables.

At the moment I made instruments cost 5000pixels each in my game to make it feel a bit more of an achievement of getting them, might work on something more elaborate (for personal use) later unless of course we see an update to this mod with some more added challenge in crafting/acquiring your instruments.

@StarScribe Well, I'm thinking about the possibility of adding some quest-exclusive instruments. Back in the day also considered the idea of a tech tree, but discarded it as cumbersome and not well suited to the general starbound crafting mechanics :(

Great job, but was rather dissapointed when I found out there is a cheaty crafting table that lets you craft them all for free. Would have been better if they had expensive crafting recipes or added to drop tables instead of being handed out.

Looks like you forgot the recipe in player.config.patch. Can only craft the table in admin mode otherwise.

I saw that your supposed to be able to find the Luthier Crafting Table in the inventors table, but it doesn't appear for me. I've uninstalled the mod and re-installed it several times and I'm pretty sure it isnt being interfered with by any other mods I have so idk what's going on.

I was thinking about replacing the vanilla instruments at first, but some people like to mix instruments and such and that wouldn't be possible that way :(

I wasn't aware they were separate instruments at the time, thought they were supposed to modify the stock ones. Got that figured out now, however.

The WD pack adds like 26 new instruments. RealKeys is a replacement for the SB stock instruments.

I've edited the mod description. I hope it's more clear now! :steamhappy:
