changing that would make their torsos incompatible with all vanilla and modded clothing, not just their legs. clothes are just a set of sprites layered over the top of the body, and can't be told to just not do the walking animation while you walk.

Awesome race. the only thing i dislike about it is that they powerwalk. they should leave their arms hanging to the side, since their body does everything for them to move forward. it just looks a little weird.

well fuck it was a nice little mod and i even had a skin mod for it that i liked *GOD DAM IT THIS WAS KILLING MY GAME THE ENTIRE TIME I RIPED MY STARBOUND MOD PILE FOR THIS ONE THING* god starbound mod fuckery is worse then rimworld

@=WL= Ereaper91 if you want to play with racial abilities, you should install Frackin Universe, or if you dont want its content but only the racial stats and abilities, you can play with Frackin Races

Note to DEV:
The Apex, Floran, and BYOS ship replacers you've linked to have either been made private, or deleted from the workshop.

Either way, the links don't work anymore, so you probably outght to give 'em a strikethrough.

Allso, Anime Eyes has the same issue.

@burin077 For me actually everything seem to work fine, except the "Mystic Arrow" thing so no problems about it, just make sure to have Frackin Races uninstalled if playing with Frackin Universe

Hey there,

Are Lamia still configured to work appropriately with Frackin' Universe? They had a large update recently as of the beginning of the month, and I wanted to make sure that Lamia were still a configured race to play. I was directed here by the Frackin' Universe team to verify that.

Does anyone know if this is compatible with 1.4? I'm pretty sure it is, but I can't find anything that confirms my suspicions.

Sorry if I sound dumb, but I'm new to modding this game, and I'm still trying to understand compatibility problems and such.

FR now is part of FU, so you can't use them both in the same time, right? But without FR installed my lamias don't have racial abilities (and other races from mods like arachne hame them). Am I the only one with such problem?

There are plenty of mods out there that patch out and replace the ship, you just have to look. Not that hard.

If you want to avoid other's templates and having to give credit, you could just copy an already made race (humans work well), do the directory replacements yourself (and scream over not knowing why its not working.)

Question:
Is there any form of template for this race anywhere?
I've had a brilliant Idea for a new race mod- but they have a tail instead of legs.
I would rather not have to make the tail and all it's animations from scratch as I am quite new to the mod creation scene.

@LadyDragoness there are already Lamia available for colony deeds, just add any lamia furniture like bed as example and a lamia will move on

Would it be possible to have both the Lamia and the Naga reskin available as separate stand-alone races? If you won't do that, do you mind if someone uploads a stand-alone naga race with credits to you? I'd be willing to attempt such a thing if you're not interested in making a stand-alone variant of this mod for the naga.

Just keep in mind I haven't found any block to build houses with to fit or mix well with the fancy lamia furniture yet xD
The only closest thing or (in my opinion looks better) is to use castle like blocks (like the ones you use or see in glitch castles) and probably golden platforms :P
