Here's what I did in my world: I found one of thoes in-gravity asteroids, mined 99% of it, leaving enoulgh to anchor a station block Built this station off of that block. after that rotos behave 100x better.
It's not perfect, but.....
It looks amazing, very accurate, it's just unexpected to find an obviously non-functional cosmetic shell, within the exploration category.
The modless ISS I've seen had to eventually be expanded a block in every direction to make space for anything needed for survival gameplay and still retain the ability to move around the station or run a conveyer system, while still maintaining an air-tight modular station.
I don't think the real ISS would hold up to space pirate attacks, though I think it holds up much better vs meteor showers than any SE station ever could.

Rated this up btw... would be nice to see it get 5 stars! :)
Steam Workshop isn't probably the right place for a debate whether or not it's a hoax, but watching hundreds and thousands of NASA videos from the station and then cherry picking few with cameras playing tricks on the footage to be the solid proof the ISS isn't real is pretty mindblowing to me.
Personally though - Don't think the station really exists - with the exception of pictures from NASA, has anyone ever seen it in the night sky? Is it REALLY orbitting the Earth at 17,000 mph?
Anyway, @Despicable Ocelot I tried rotors on/off, locked/unlocked, Displaced and not. Still sadly blew up :c
im not sure if this is a good solution or not, but its worked for me.
Great work :)
I count 12 rotors, 1 for each set of radiators as they also rotate, albeit on a single axis. And ofc the 5 per each solar array. As a bonus, have a nice picture of the actual station. Absolutely glorious!

I left some barren space on the end section (Zvezda service module) for timers and programmables in case somebody picks up the project. (This station getting help from other people would quite literally make this an international space engineers station. True to the original, huh? :D)
P.S. the rotor problem might be down to the rotor locks, DON'T USE IT, ever since KEEN introduced it, it has been nothing but trouble, so for me i don't use it EVER..... good luck with whatever you build next, looking forward to it.....
