So, if you arent too overly busy. [maybe?] With trailer ownership out some additional skins could be done... But just a suggestion really.. you must have a lot to do elsewhere so I wont necessarily expect anything more then what has already been done.

And I realize to some extent this additional request would be breaking with the canonical, but maybe updating the skins to have a background color layer thats repaintable perhaps? In some respects I think it would suit the characters a bit more too, allow the option of creating more contrast [with Asuka] so they stand out better.

Just some ideas, stay safe out there.

So, I kniow I asked you about converting to ets2, but really, only interested in the Rei and Shinji conversions... I've discovered that the Rei skin looks great within ats on the t680 and wonder if similar could be done for ets2...?

I'm not sure if cab-overs are easier or not, but I realize that some aspects of the color usage would change due to the absence of the nose/fenders, and thats ok. I also realize that it is ridiculously difficult to find good high res images of older shows like NGE. Only ets2 trucks at this time I could foresee these skins on would be Daf XF 105, Newer Merc, and Volvo 2012fh.

And I know it depends on the templates and all of that, but you've done good job with the Rei and Shinji skins. Above all else, I realize this adaptation would take time, and I understand if you're busy with life etc. Apologies if this is a retread of an earlier post... Hope all is well..

yeah, I so hear ya there.... I have sympathies for jazzycAT.. poor modder has untold number of trailers to go thru... so I understand that.

@ -_Manta Ray_- a year later but... I don't have the model for it, also, single caps are way harder to work as the space is more limited o; (that's why I avoid the W900 usually)

@HemiSphericFreight as other modders, I will stick to trucks until they stop messing trailers, I'm not sure if I answerred in other mod to you, but I currently only have the models for Pete 579, KW T680 and KW W900, about Mary I won't update this mod, I left her out on purpose, but I may release another one including her in the future with other designs (just not now). Thanks for supporting the mod community

@dex: Yes, and they just updated trailers majorly. I'm now getting a rough idea of what owned trailers would be like... But until we get to trailers being similar to how tyrucks and skins work, we're stuck with constantly updating trailers moreso than trucks...

That said, any update on horizon for this skin, like adding Mari Makinami and also the 389 to the mix?

Heh.. the ets2 trailer skin on the scs forums... [look at the forum dates.. Nov thru December 2014] will work great with the ats ai traffic... cant find it as freight tho... Oh well...

@HemiSphericFreight I've thought about trailers, but to be honest I don't know how to make them anymore (as it seems they require blender), I'll see if I can learn the bases and come up with something, but I can't promise anything for now haha

Well, I found I wasnt running the top end cab.. thats whgy it wasnt showing... Ahh, good, I will keep a look out for those... have you considered some trailer skins as well like down the road a ways? [Might help if they didnt keep changing trailer stuff up every so often]... But I've got the short term one I can use...

@ HemiSphericFreight Hi, thanks for the comment and the support. About the W900, it's very strange I just tested it and they work on it, even some hours ago I made a video showcasing every desing on every truck. About the design of the eyes, I actually tried that at the beginning, but I decided to keep it clean and simple, kind of implying that the truck is the Eva unit; yet I have plans (but not a date D:) for an update or a second version including new paintjobs (keeping these too) more similar to what you suggest. Hmm, I didnt see the paint available for the w900... odd...

So, An addendum of suggestions... Perhaps on the roof where you have representations of the units' eyes, may I suggest adding a faintly colored outline of the unit's face as well to give the eyes some better definition as eyes? Because in some respect, the eyes looks more like "dots" without some sort of background setting... While I understand the meaning of the eyes because I've seen the series and such, others may not necessarily think well of the roof art as it is right now. So if you could add a faint facial outline for each unit, that would be good.

Also, maybe look at adding Unit 5 and Touji.... And extend the availability to aradeth's volvo 670, the stock w900 and viper2's peterbuilt 389 maybe... Tall order, but it is all about improving your skill, and if you enjoy skinning trucks, so much the better.
