love this thing, curious if there exists a similar wired turret for regular weapons/sweps, I can't find anything like it :p

Works pretty good. Came in handy while I was making a wiremod target. The bulletholes were annoying.

Oh right, you can probably do that. I didn't suggest that initially because I play with like 200 addons and going through them all one at a time would be painful...

Could be. Reinstalling and checking/reinstalling your other addons might help.

From my experience there's a good change that's probably because you have a Physics Gun model replacement addon installed. Check and see if you do and if so try uninstalling it. That should work in theory.

Oh, just like with any action binds in GMod. You right click them. (make sure NOT to left click them first cause that selects them and will make right click execute the action)

It's not so much the left click right click, its getting those behaviors to play out normally on an entity that isn't a player... WAIT! Maybe a simulated player, like a cheap "bot" but wire and keypad controllable will work... must investigate.

Hmmm.... I don't know, SWEP codebases are rather different than STool codebases. With things like TFA and CW2.0, I may not ever be able to integrate all SWEPS into it, but it may be possible for some though...

Personally I quite like Wiremod, but I still find it hard to understand a lot, so I understand why people might not like it.

Indeed! That's a large part of the reason I tracked this down and uploaded it. (the other major reason being I wanted a way to automate building things, and also to be able to use the Headcrab Canister tool from the HL2 Tools mod automatically).

if you use this, you can make a decoy player (and/or) NPC with a working toolgun!

granted, you probbly cant fix it like you stated above in the desc. which is a bummer, since i was depending on a fully working mod for my upcoming project, but it doesnt seem like that will happen. because of this bug, i am unsure if i should continue working on my project or not.

good mod, however i bring you a rather serious bug report, it seems that the toolgun turret can only perform 3 welds MAX per prop. i dont know if the bug occurs with other actions, but it does welds. it either seems to not weld the associated prop(s) at all or it breaks a weld and forms a new one.
