Hmm, now that I think about it the mod Enhanced Storage pretty much covers the same things in and more than the Improved Containers mod. Might be a good idea to get a patch for both :)

Some features show up on your containers but you can't properly move your containers with stuff in them (they fall out when broken but with the mod and vanilla containers the objects stay inside and the item gets like a red border around it's icon and can no longer stack in your item menu obviously) And I'm unable to name your containers which the other mod allows for vanilla storage. Auto stack and the sort feature work though surprisingly. If I were able to move your containers around with stuff in them, it would make things SO much easier.

There's a non-Cutebound version of this mod, the link for it is in the description above. This version is because the original doesn't apparently work nicely with Cutebound on its own, and someone asked if I could do up a version that won't hassle it.

Well, good to hear it wasn't something else, but not great that that's why. If I make an update to this mod I'm going to try and make it work on its own without depending on a modified workbench recipe file.

nvm i had to uninstall some clothing mods that was overwriting your mod

From what I understand, if Compact Crops affects the recipes that show in the workbench (or racial crafting recipes), then it's a good possibility that compact crops is simply overwriting my mod.

i can't craft the storage lockers anymore in the workbench i dont have the ablitiy to so i wondering is compact crops doing that or not

I haven't used compact crops, so I'm not sure what exactly you mean. Can you explain what exactly is going wrong?
