add this line to your _metadata so it loads after both of them. Just want to be sure it loads after true space so it patches in properly
"requires" : ["gdss", "TrueSpace"],

I didnt test this but it should so the same thing.

This patch looks like its a replacement for the whole truespace patch altogether. You can just add the space stations in with a more exact key. Ill put something together real quick and drop a pastebin on here for you. I had to patch in gas ball biomes for truespace already

you could poke the creator of the patches, as better barren also adds new biomes, which he patched :P

Nope there is a seperate FU + Truespace patch. And if you're gonna patch for both... patch madness.

wheres the sense of doing so?
i mean, if someone uses truespace, he would like it to be working at each biome/planet which may be spawned, not just some, i guess :)

so most people who use FU and TS will possibly use the patch for it.

Something in this is disrupting the generation of FU planets; I have the FU compatibility patch, and uninstalling this mod generates the FU biomes properly.
