Ok. so i was probably unclear about this, but the people that created the Vulpes race mod are not modifying the race, as far as their blog page goes. they also gave the Vulpes the ability to craft all vanilla racial weapons on purpose, to give the Vulpes freedom in the Starbound universe. there have been, also, some nice peoplethat made patches to make races, including the Vulpes, able to use mechs, making them compatible for 1.3.x. i enjoyed this ship playing with Kemono, but the Vulpes took the cake for character aesthetics. i would enjoy using this ship again.

There has to be a different ship than this. Do you have a logistics frigate version for the kemono?

Had to unsub in order for me to play on with the new update, will sub again if a fix is found. And I agree with Kira Slith that the floor connections need to be adjusted by one block for floor hatches, would give it a more ship feeling instead of using platforms.

Just letting you know that the Soma ships (I'm going to assume for all races) are broken in patch 1.3, causing the game to disconnect because of a client exception error when trying to pull up the navigation window via the captain's chair, other than that, bookmarks and the current planet you're hovering work fine if you use the teleporter on ship or the beam down button.

any chance the vertical connections between rooms could be widened by 1 block in one direction or another? none of the hatches fit in the current spacing.

hey. there's this new recently added race mod called the Vulpes mod. if you can make a soma exploration ship for that race, that would be absolutely amazing. i subscribed to this ship mod for the Kemono and then found the Vulpes race mod here recently. i would love to see some ships for the vulpes race, too. no, i don't own the Vulpes race mod, i just wanted to make the request because new ships for the Vulpes race would be spectacular!

No, I know I can use my own vanilla chair, but the soma chair disappears is all I was sayin'

You can spawn a regular chair with cheats in singleplayer and they will stay in multiplayer:
/admin
/spawnitem apexcaptainschair 1
or
/spawnitem somacaptainschairkemono 1
but this one will work only in singleplayer.

Hey, Din0, Just wanted to let you know that if you use this server on a MP server that doesn't have this mod, the pilot's seat is *apparently* removed, entirely. Would it be possible to make/use a pilot seat that would be MP-friendly? [I.E., the default vanilla pilot seat]

You should install mod to take all of your crew with you, because everything on previous ship will disappear (items and crew).

if i have a crew member on the ship do i lose them?
( i dont know how the spawning works)

what happens to the crew on the ship? specifically the tailor?

Only for Kemono. If you search "Soma" in steam workshop, then you will find every available ships for that moment.

Will this work with other races, or only the Kemono?
