Instead of using creative printer it should have use a drop pod with normal printer and few supplies, mmrpg for it in a drop pod that you launch with the MDV radio.
So you can print extractors and such after.

I can't quite remember where the printer is, but it is either by the small lander or MDV debris. Again I can't remember the directions so if I can I'll go into editor and check.

in mission, I couldn't find drill or refinery for survive.

I'm not even sure if the radio transmitter even works in the game yet, so I can't help you there. The whole purpose is to survive, but maybe in the future I'll update this mission so you can actually find something to escape and "complete" the mission.

i need some help.
i've started mission, and patced my helmet. and find some stuff.
and I tried to lunch MDV on radio.

then what do i have to do?

I couldn't find anything on sight. MDV dosen't fall on my front yard, no comm for look map. and it dosen't show ETA for MDV.

Highly reccoment to place 3 buildings where the static ones where based on the big structure i nthe training module 4 or one 1 will be enough if it takes too long. The player would need to use his resources to create or repair the structure so it's habitable again to be able to survive longer

Yes, but you can only really find out what it is in my video series.

I may update with some more stuff related to said mystery, for now we can just wait and see.

The new update is awsome man, I'm working on building a small camp site with the machines and all of that. Nothing 5 star but a perfect survival mission zone with a tent, machines and storage tanks neatly put in place. Is that mystery still part of the scenario?

Scenario Update!

Read the change-notes for more information.

- Added methane barrels at crash-site.
- Removed small abandoned shuttle.
- Added some crates with potato seeds/food/water at the crashsite .
- Day/Night Time Scale changed to 1:12. Still too fast? Tell me!

Yes you can make methane and oxygen using the drill system, atmosphere processor and other mining equipment, then you can use the Materials Refinery to synthesize some methane/oxygen.

This is quite a exhausting process however, and very slow.

I'll update the mission one more to address the:
1. Night time issue, I don't want time going by that quickly.
2. There will be SOME food and water supply. (please note the video is very outdated)
3. I'll add some potato seeds aswell, in some crates near the start.
4. Some methane/oxygen barrels you can find near the abandoned shuttle/ruined buggy by the crash-site/derelict buildings in the distance/the MDV shuttle wreck

I highly reccoment adding in containers with food and water as well as seeds near one of the crash sites and more near the direlect buildings in the distance. I'm building a nice "camp site" and it would go nice with the survival mission itself

As I am testing the mission with the updates here's what I can report back with:

1. Yes, we can survive the flares now.
2. I am struggleing to find the food and water supply mentioned in the video which means my food and water runs out and I die.
3. Yes, we can patch the suit up.
4. (noob question) can I make methane and Oxigen to power up any vehicles? I haven't played in awhile.

Yes, we can survive the flares. But any tips on where the food and water is? As you mentioned, the other space shuttle is locked up but the buildings in the distance are part of the scenary

Scenario Update!

I've added two more suit-patches to the Crash, aswell as added a poptent with some oxygen barrels nearby.

It's absolutely neccessary to explore the Crash-site first to find the equipment you need.
For example, before this update, there were suit-patches hidden up at the top of a crashed module at the crash-site. They're still there.

The solar flare has been delayed. It now will take 25 minutes approximately to get to you. You have more than enough time to prepare. TIP: Find a big shadow, possibly using the nearby rock formations, and put your poptent there.

There are rock formations by the crash. If you hide behind them the radiation shouldn't get you. Any shadow that covers you will protect you.

The most impossible things i've done to overcome the current issues were using the 3d printer to spawn a cargo truck and hope I could hide in the air lock bay. Altho it dosen't sheild you from radiation. But I will suggest it to the devs. It would sound plausible. I spawned a tent which helped with healing thanks to that 3d printer two.

Sounds like some updates might have changed my mission. I will fix it later, possibly.

1. There should be suit patches AT the crash.
2. Some of the space-craft I've placed are unopenable.
3. There shouldn't be solar radiation (I'll fix that)
4. It shouldn't be dark by the time you've done all this (I'll fix that).

I don't know what you've done here because there aren't any suit patches at the crash site. When i reach the truck i cna't find any suit patches but I end up printing some stuff in a hurry which helps me somewhat overcome the solar flare's extreme radiation. It gets dark, I can't open the door on the other space shuttle.....it's a hopeless mission

On the way to the shuttle, look for a broken crate because the suit patch is not by your crash-site. It's half-way there to the MDV crash-site, but it only has the bottom part of the crate, making it hard to spot..

If I remember correctly you shouldn't even be able to enter the shuttle because it should be broken into bits scattered around and such. There is no way to enter the buildings as the game does not have interior models for them, but I'm thinking of adding a building you can enter there, just to survive. Hope this helps. I seem to have some trouble with this scenario...
Can you give any hint as to where I can find the suit patch? I was able to find the flares and the transponder, but no suit patch. Also, is there a way to enter the shuttle? I tried cycling the airlock, but it wont open. What about the buildings? Can those be opened?

The MDV is broken no matter how many times I place it, so instead I removed it, added MDV Debris and that's it. Have fun playing the scenario!

Well, you were right. The doors won't open, plus the 3D printer is now permanently gift-wrapped. Why not switch it back to being a dynamic object? The gantry pieces were, AFAIK, the objects clipping into the MDV, so with those gone, maybe it'll work?

I changed the MDV to Static and broke it a bit so it should look more abandoned and hopefully still usable. But since it's static the doors might not open. Tell me.

Just tried this out, but I'm having a bit of an issue with the MDV. When I looked over at it from the crash site, it looked like it was hovering in mid-air and shaking wildly like something was clipping into it. From looking at it in Editor, it seems the problem is with the MAV launch gantry (the scaffolding surrounding where it was): the pieces have been glitched out of their normal pivot points, so now they're clipping into the different sections of the MDV. I'm liking the whole scenario otherwise so far, so I really hope you can fix this.

For everyone experiencing a crash when trying to load the scenario, the bug was the get-up animation. I've fixed it (but this means the astronaut starts standing up) and should now be playable.

^^ and by me start all other scenarios wich i testet....probally 20 scenarios. the only one that not runs is yours...i think my computer is not the cause.

Sorry for late reply. Maybe your computer is missing requirements for TKOM thus it can't run. If the game does not start up, it is not my scenario. If it doesn't load my scenaroo but the game starts its probably TKOM.

That has nothing to do with my scenario. It may be your game conflicting with a mod or something has broken. Rightclick on the game, click properties and verify the game cache. If that doesn't work, open the launcher (click PLAY for TKOM and then Play Launcher) and disable all the mods.

Just loaded up the scenario after posting below. Yeah, the MDV I'd say is too far away now. Also, I don't think it likes it there anyway coz it's on a slope (ideally should be on flat level ground), and in my loadup, it was a bit wrecked and basically non-functional. Where you had it before was about right. I think as well, your "new" astronaut is not crippled now, well not as much as before.

Don't know if I would put the MDV much further away, I mean in terms of realism, how far could a crippled astronaut go? The distance you had the second time I'd say was just on the limit. You said you had to respawn an astronaut again. Before saving the scenario for uploading, just run down his O2 until he has the required amount. It's possible to do it directly in the scenario file, but I'm not sure which values you'd have to change.

I also kind of messed up. In the editor, the character with seventeen minutes of oxygen magically disappeared. So I had to spawn a new one.. with 20 minutes of oxygen. But no worries, I made the MDV further to compensate for this and the suit patch was removed at the start of the mission.

Pay your respects to the buggy before you leave the crash site.

I only added the unfuelled scout buggy as I figured the walk was far, but, if it is redundant, I might as well heavily damage it to make it look like it fell out the crashed crafts cargo hold.
