To those wondering about side elevators: it's called rails. There's a vanilla crafting station for it all.

You wouldn't be elevating if you just went sideways... That's more akin to a light rail, train, or even a moving walkway.

I didn't realize a select few of the things found in missions and dungeons were on-rail platforms.
I suppose then that there are much fewer elevators than I thought.
Still, can you have elevators appear in the wiringbench and/or industrial workbench?
I'd hate to craft the railbench to make non-rail objects.

There are only four total elevator types, unless you mean the on-rail platforms.

It's the first main mishon you warp to after you get your ship flying. You have to get on it to go down to the mishion propper. It is unatainable to the best of my knowlage. As for the screanshot, It'll have to be later, I've got to get off the computer right now.

Hey, Reika, Could you make the Primative elevator from the Floarian mishion craftable too? and can you put that in the workbench?

Yes they are, that is what I ment; even with them craftable, you shoud be able to craft these.
