make sure to destroy the light above the ship teleporter before upgrading

Alright i just fix the issue, to everyone who has the previous ship model and want to upgrade it to the new model, make sure to clean everything around the teleport before to upgrade the ship. The new teleport has a special hitbox more bigger and when u upgrade the ship if u dont have the necessary space it will not generated the new teleport, making gone the teleport forever.

Is this compatible with the F.U. BYOS system?

The overall shape of the ship hasn't changed, nor has the placement of the fuel hatch. There's just additional things in the ship now. I can understand why the other new additions would be removed, but the fuel hatch missing is the concerning part.

If the structure of the vessel has changed, it is indeed possible that it no longer functions properly.

For some reason, this mod is now removing the fuel hatch from the Avali Alternate Ship. Likely has to do with some updates to the default contents of the ship as it also removes the two platforms present and the cleaner drone charging dock the ship comes with from the start.

Could we please get a version that has normal teleporter collision type? And, what's the item ID?

@Tazerbot3000 Partially! Have Fu on it but is not compatible with BYOS. Only for the default ship from Frackin Universe.

Does it work for FU and/or BYOS?

Hi, I stopped playing starbound ( for now), so if the official team that develops "Avali (Triage) Race Mod" wants to integrate this mod into "Avali (Triage) Race Mod" they have my approval. ( I had already told felix at the time of this creation)

say, any plans on letting this be added to the Triage mod? Felix is lacking some spriting ppl to get the mod going again, willing to do the coding and organization of things.

This is not compatible with BYOS, apparently. Or Frackin Universe if you use the BYOS option.

@CyborgJenn what I meant by backdrop, I meant in the same manner as a painting is backdrop. It's a object in the foreground but it doesn't have a physical boundry. Still interactible like a switch.

@Sora Hjort , Would be a valid solution , however the standard ship lights and the teleporter are both foreground objects.

Yeah, I realize it's a case that probably doesn't have a solution. But it is something for people to keep in mind.
The only kind of makeshift solution I can think of would to split the teleporter into two parts, the backdrop and the pad. So that if something is in the way where the backdrop goes, the pad still shows up regardless. But I'm pretty sure that would require editing the ship layout files, and what with the multiple variations...

But yeah, people will just have to be aware that if they forget to clear the area, they'll have to spawn in the teleporter or revert to a previous backup of the shipworld file..

@Sora Hjort : yes, in the case of you install this mod on a ship already exist, you need clean teleporter's zone of all objects before upgrade your ship or you lose the teleporter (you cannot have 2 object at the same place ) , i cant prevent this :(

I've only ran into one issue with this mod, though I don't know if there is any thing that can be done to prevent it. See if you install this mod after you've already created a ship. And on that ship you have a object, like say a light, above the vanilla teleporter. And then you go and upgrade the ship, your ship will no longer have a teleporter.

So basically: Make sure your teleporter room is cleared before upgrading if you didn't have this mod installed in the first place.

there is only the steam version. the game id is 211820 and the id for this mod is 743599672. go to the workshop folder instead of the common folder in the steam folder (so many folders!). in the 743599672 folder you'll find a contents.pak file. that's the one you want.

i unpaked it, then opened the ships/avali/blockkey.config.patch file, and then changed the 15 and 16 to 14 and 15

The teleporter design is really good, but it's so saddening that it doesn't work now.

yeah i tried making a new character and seems as soon as the ship gets an upgrade the teleporter turns into the basic one. this is odd.

@Bricky51 : if a good understand you try join a friend game with my mod installed and your friend not have.
if that is the case, it is quite normal that you encounter this problem and I unfortunately can not do anything, it just the way that starbound manages the game and the mod (and this is true with many mod ).
to solve this kind of problem both people must have the same mod installed to play together or one of the two creates a server (and all user have the server mod but I can not give you more information on how to follow.)

@goldendragonfinn : maybe a conflict with another mod change the avali ship, only the mod in the description are compatible, if you use another with my teleporter mod have a great chance doesn't works properly, but without more info i can't help more.

OK. More In Depth Explanation. You Should Probably Prepare To Be Here A While. Apperanly While Joining Soomone's Game Who Did Not Have This Mod, Their Game Basically Removed The Unknown Tile (a.k.a. The Teleporter) From My Ship. I Tried /spawnitem But Found That I Dont Know The Name Of It, Because A Perfectly Generic Item Just Spawned Instead Of The Teleporter. Please Help Me With This Issue.
