@Crimson The avali just use admin mode

Activate it by going into the chat and type /admin

I am currently not working on this mod. I'm busy with other things not necessarily related to Starbound.

Maud doesn't work. Made everything as in the instruction, through command /admin. The technology is active, but when pressing the necessary buttons nothing occurs

ya new stuff has happend but atleast the nano suit looks cool you know if you need any help i do sprite on my spare time i have some crisis weapons assoicets of mine made you could also add like the scarab i will just need to look

Actually I'm pretty busy with other things unrelated to Starbound and I've heard reports that the tech is appearently no longer working in the latest version. This is not completely abandoned but I'll probably not continue with it until I'm having some time to play Starbound.

BTW that info was from /doc/lua/player.md
and you can find any example of code being used with notepad++'s find in files feature. Search for say "player.equipTech(" within whatever folder you extracted packed.pak
So that's a wonderful way to see real examples of the code being used where the documentation could be clearer.

player.equippedItem("head") for example would return what the player is equipped with. Per the documentation Equipment slot names are "head", "chest", "legs", "back", "headCosmetic", "chestCosmetic", "legsCosmetic" and "backCosmetic"

The smooth option would be like the helmet adds a status, that status has as scripts that checks for the other pieces, and if so use
player.equippedTech() to read what is currently there and save it,
player.equipTech() to equip your tech instead
upon removal of status player.equipTech() to restore the previous tech.
You don't have your tech available at the console at all.

I'm not actively working on it right now, but it's an armor and tech. If I knew more about scripts and, although I'm not sure about this one, there were functions to check which armor you are currently wearing, I'd only enable the tech to work with the armor. Right now you can use the armor as a skin and the tech for it's functions.

So this is a tech, or is this an armor + tech?
I had thought at some point to make an exoskeleton "vehicle" that basically is the same/similar profile as the players do so you can use any door, etc. You remap the buttons people use when in vehicles to match vehicle functions.

But then I would need to figure out if it is possible to interact with the world when in a vehicle. And I don't know enough about vehicles yet.

Another modder has already made the code where in your vehicles use energy, etc. So that sort of setup seems natural to me where you want an Ironman suit, Fallout Powerarmor, Venom etc Symbiote, or this.
