i have detailed species, and the only other mod that changes the apex is estylefaces. m'just confused because this worked fine before i done hecked up ;-;

yeah, apes don't have tails. also, Vegeta doesn't turn into waluigi when he goes SSB, and in left 4 dead, the survivors don't fight a horde of teletubbies. Mods don't need to be lore friendly, they can just be diferent or funny things to change your game.

if you get bothered so much by seeing a tail, maybe the problem is that you yourself have a tail up your ass XD

I made a small change that should allow this to work with mods that replace the apex face texture. Let me know if I messed anything up.

@Lagunita The cute faces mod should be compatable if all it does is change the face textures, provided it loads after this mod.

Semantics with regards to real-world ape and monkey species are kind of a moot point here imo.

Buuut I might also point out that the Apex are notorious foor running highly invasive genentic experimentation and gene splicing experiments on their own population, so who's to say they didn't want to try and graft on a monkey's tail? Monkey tails are absurdly useful - they's essentially a 5th manipulator limb, and also help drastically with ballance. :P

Regardless, I have a very hard time telling Apex apart from Humans a lot of time time, depending on their clothing and skin colors (male Apex with beards are the most indisinguiishable), so this really helps differentiate their visuals at a glance - thanks you! :3

Ah. Good work. I was going to comment on in passing about the problem of an ape with a tail but I see that this is a merger with a monkey race mod.
