This mod makes so much sense! In real historical combat most of the time people would wield a spear and shield, so I never understood why you couldn't carry a spear one handed for this exact reason.

This "mod" makes it possible to wield both a spear and a shield. Feel yourself like a spartan!

It would have being nice if we could have both type in the game : 2 handed with abilities and 1 handed without abilities (and a litthe less powerfull ?) but with shield (but no second spears); like how the swords work !
