Claiming your planet is still a feature, and as Hellcie said, create your own workshop collection to store all your mods in, and you can switch between packs.

Make sure to backup your Starbound's storage folder beforehand (I suggest keeping a separate backup for FBR and for your Frackin pack).

Also be on the look out for workshop corruptions, they are common place when downloading mods. Should that occur, resubscribe some mods and eventually you'll get things working.

Frackin' Universe unfortunately is really not optimized well for a larger server and if we had it we probably wouldn't be able to keep the server up like we have. What you can do is back up your player saves and make a collection of your mods to swap back to! Your saves will still be there, and you can re-create your characters to hang out here and RP if you want.

I wish this had Frackin Universe, I really don't wanna reset everything and remove all my mods :( this pack is epic and it was my first ever (and only) server pack I ever played and joined, it was fun, full of nice people and back then you could even claim your own planet, sadly, as far as I know, that feature has been removed/disabled..

If FU wasn't a one way install, I'd for sure give this pack another go :) (not like a "modloader" of sorts exists for starbound, like terraria's tmodloader does)

It is, yeah. The missing mods might have been removed due to incompatability, or are just differently named now.

I can't tell if the modpack has been updated at all, but it seems to be missing a few mods that were in the server back in 2020/2021 when I was last on it.
Is the current mod list the whole mod list?

Ah, that's because the Draconis race has strange incompatibilities with the server mods, and generally has bad form coding, including overwriting parts of the game it shouldn't, such as entire dialogue entries rather than utilising .patch files. It depends on load order if mod patch files can make their own changes to the Draconis race overwrites. Unfortunately, this would mean all mods would have to load after Draconis race (barring character extender which would be needed to even load the mod), which isn't reasonable.

We know. We have a discord, it's connected into the server, and you can access it with /discord.
I brought up the issue of suggesting new mods to GeO and Eradem and I think they'll get around to putting a mod suggestion channel on discord (or they already did and I'm blind)

Fragments of Ruin is almost obligatory nowadays.

FU doesn't play nice with the server (in the context of lag and terrain gen) or so I've been told. I would suggest these additions on the discord instead since the forum is depricated by this point.

Would it be at all possible to include the Warhammer weapons mod? While the Bolters and such are powerful weapons I mainly want access to the Lasgun.

PSA: If you want to get on the server make sure to install "UNINSTALL".
It contains custom objects that are used on the server for decoration, and actually uninstalling it will cause you to crash when you beam down to most planets.

Sorry @Xeno , but that is not a possibility. The Draconis race is well known for having obscure issues with the server, and every attempt to include it has resulted in disappointment.

Nah, all this server needs is a performance tune-up.. stop adding mods and fix/remove the ones that are causing issues for everyone (freezing, lag, etc.)

15 minuites to load up, so i just choose some i like and gone from there

The server is practically unplayable for me. I can't stay on for more than 3 minutes before I lose connection, and another 5 minutes before I can join again because the ping is so slow that it can't realize that I lost connection yet.

SpacialRift weapons actually adds almost all of the objects placed in Vega, and a lot more contributions than the title suggests. It should really go under a different name, it also houses Vega's instance world that is currently used to enter.

@RedLink I say remove the Very Varied Vehicles, SpacialRift Weapons and Terraria Weapons mods. They're all pretty low quality and don't contribute much to the server. If that's still too many, then I guess the Big Box of Loot could go too.
