You can make multiple versions of this mod, with different colors, to please everyone. I mean, the mod has a small size, so it probably doesn't need you to take every sprite and add the color glow. I'm guessing that just changing the color code in a few lines of code will do the job. I might be wrong.

I like this idea, but have you thought of possibly being able to choose what color you'd like highlighted items, important items, etc. to be?

Scannable item are blue , critical are green and scanned are red in the vanilla game , so problem solved.

Perhaps scanned items should be yellow, unscanned Blue, and Critical red. I think that would work best. Or at least some order of the three.

I like it as is to be honest. If I had to choose though I would rather a dark green or yellow outline for scanned items. I think grey would be harder to see.

I wouldn't say invisible, because that could get confusing. I'd say a grey or yellow outline would work best.

scanned items have a dark blue outline that's unfilled. unscanned is a lighter blue and is filled in.

would it be better if the scanned outline is dark grey or invisible?

if it's possible to make scanned items show a much darker black than grey I could do that.

Critical scans are red.. so now you can tell them apart from already-scanned items! But now already-scanned items are blue, meaning you can't tell them apart from items you haven't already scanned.

I fail to see the logic in this.
