Finally! These ironless Asteroids have reaaaaally been bugging me! *thumbs up*
Already visited asteroids won't have iron on it since they have already been generated but going to never visited asteroids will generate a field with the new orespawning.
Does that work or am I missing something? Awesome mod BTW.
I could do a version with Tungsten and Titanium though.
I'm actually working on something else that'd let you get those ores though - A mod that'd let you reprocess the meteor rock itself into ores. It gives me a lot more freedom when it comes to balancing things out compared to editing ore spawns since I could set exactly how much meteor rock you'd need for ores and limit the higher tier ores to upgraded versions of the machine.
I'll need to figure out what planet type each data set points to, since the planet entries are numbered instead of outright named like asteroids and moons were but it's doable.
