To make this mod affect ALL XCOM soldiers (even custom/mod added ones) go to ..\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\268500\1130834375\Config folder and edit the file XComGameData.ini this way:

replace

+AbilityUnlocksAmmoPocket="Overdrive"

for

+AbilityUnlocksAmmoPocket="Evac"

Yes but not with this

Any way to make it standard utility slot and add multiple slots? I'm playing LW2, non-WOTC.

Hello is this war of the chosen compataible?
Thrair 5. juli 2018 kl. 12:51
Thanks, btw. I prefer to just add the line to the .ini (I've rolled it into my twealed Long War ini files), but I learned about the ability to do so via your mod. So while I'm not subbed, I tossed ya a thumbs up and a favourite.
Juravis  [ophavsmand] 29. apr. 2018 kl. 16:11
I dont recall honestly. I suggest trying without and if the bullets arent kicking in to use the pocket fix.
Thrair 29. apr. 2018 kl. 9:42
I saw you added the ammo pocket fix as a requirement for the WotC version, bout half a month after your last comment here. Is the fix needed after all for the base game version, too? Or did WotC just bork something up?
Juravis  [ophavsmand] 2. sep. 2017 kl. 8:46
I agree it probably works as its one text line
SHIFTY 2. sep. 2017 kl. 6:40
you don't need to update it the mod already works fine in WOTC I've been using it for a few days with no issues
Kirone - FordArkITA 2. sep. 2017 kl. 5:36
Update for WOTC?
BoomWolf 1. sep. 2017 kl. 6:34
WotC update please?
MantisUK 30. aug. 2017 kl. 4:13
will this be updated for war of the chosen?
Dęąth Viper 11. juni 2017 kl. 17:08
there is a mod called "tactical rigging" it does the same thing but for all your soldiers
Juravis  [ophavsmand] 11. juni 2017 kl. 17:05
I dont modify the exection code, i just put the slot in. The slot is handled by XCOM natively. If it doesnt work, either flush your INI cache or unsub/resub. You may also have conflicts.
Lyzak 9. juni 2017 kl. 18:32
This doesn't appear to... do anything? I can certainly equip ammo to my SPARK unit, but the ammo effects aren't applied. I can see a little icon in-mission that says "Shedder Rounds! This unit blah blah blah" but shots don't ACTUALLY shred any armor.
Dęąth Viper 16. maj 2017 kl. 15:41
Thanks avenger. Subscribed and now forgetting

Extra Slot Ammo for Spark working well so far with Long War 2 Mod.
Juravis  [ophavsmand] 25. nov. 2016 kl. 19:26
Unless they fixed it in the last patch, all ammo pockets are semi broken. Just also use -bg-'s ammo pocket fix.
75338 25. nov. 2016 kl. 18:11
-= REQUIREMENTS =-

-bg-'s ammo pocket fix is required for proper functionality of -any- ammo pocket.

...made me think there was an issue as a standalone. But hey, thanks for a great mod.
Juravis  [ophavsmand] 25. nov. 2016 kl. 17:35
If you only want the spark ammo slot, subscribe and forget. Why are you concerned?
75338 25. nov. 2016 kl. 15:08
I only want the ammo slot for the SPARK, not the other soldiers. The mod seems to work without the required mod linked above. Is there an issue that I'm not seeing, or a risk I'm taking?
Juravis  [ophavsmand] 7. okt. 2016 kl. 22:31
Yes
Poker Penguin 4. okt. 2016 kl. 15:33
does this work with mods that add ammo? like the cut ammo content mod?
Juravis  [ophavsmand] 31. aug. 2016 kl. 17:27
@Empusae Fixed
Empusae 31. aug. 2016 kl. 12:19
Ranger's ability is called SwordSlice, not SwordSlash.
All-a-Mort 2. aug. 2016 kl. 10:40
Ah ok. Thanks.
Juravis  [ophavsmand] 2. aug. 2016 kl. 9:25
Also there is no better method. They both do the same thing.

Unless you do it in a mod form, don't directly edit XcomGameData.INI as the file is overwritten everytime you launch XCOM. Additions to XcomGameData.INI should be made via mods.
Juravis  [ophavsmand] 2. aug. 2016 kl. 9:21
Both of those work. One is direct (mine in the text above), -bg-'s instructions are mod-like such as is found when you subscribe to this mod.
All-a-Mort 2. aug. 2016 kl. 9:16
I'm curious. In -BG-'s Ammo Pocket Fix thread, the suggestion (admittedly not by -BG-) is to add the code to the mod's copy of xcomgamedata.ini and requires the form +AbilityUnlocksAmmoPocket="abilityname", yet the instructions here differ from that in location and form. Is one approach better than the other?
Siven 2. aug. 2016 kl. 8:44
@All-a-Mort yes you just need an ability of the class and it will work for every class from mods, it should anyway.
You can add GrenadePocket instead of Ammo too if you wish for a grenade only slot.

I really do wish the Utility slots worked this way too, as i want a Tactical Rigging (Xcom:EW) mod that adds 1 utility slot to everyone and adds the slot on the squad selection screen too. But they dont work that way :/
Spotter 2. aug. 2016 kl. 7:36
@ ADVENT Avenger, and @All-a-Mort perhaps adding in Weapon, Grenade, Ammo will cure the can't change a thing in the Spark's slots issue? Each category you want, in customizing the robot?
All-a-Mort 2. aug. 2016 kl. 5:36
Am I right in thinking that to get this to work with the LW Perk classes and any other mod classes (e.g. Rogue, Infantry, Trooper, LW MEC Sparks etc), I'd need to add in a line with one of their abilities to enable the pocket and that the ability used would determine whether the pocket is enabled at a certain rank or from the start?
Spotter 1. aug. 2016 kl. 17:31
Has anyone been able to change the standard rocket, with upgrades from the Proving Grounds? Every time I try, it removes the rocket and nothing can be put in the Heavy Weapon slot thereafter! :steamsalty: :steamsad:
Juravis  [ophavsmand] 1. aug. 2016 kl. 13:33
Yes its only an ammo pouch.
Slaunyeh 1. aug. 2016 kl. 13:19
With this line of command, Only ammo will go into de slot ?
Juravis  [ophavsmand] 1. aug. 2016 kl. 9:54
@Siven Updated this mod's instructions.
Juravis  [ophavsmand] 1. aug. 2016 kl. 9:52
@Siven Meh was worth a try. Will have to manually add it to all classes then. Pick all base abilities if you want the whole squad.
Siven 1. aug. 2016 kl. 9:51
Yup, didnt work on any squaddie until i changed "loot" into Squadsight for the sniper.
Juravis  [ophavsmand] 1. aug. 2016 kl. 9:46
@Siven On a non-rookie? Didn't work?
Siven 1. aug. 2016 kl. 7:30
Adding the AbilityUnlocksAmmoPocket="Loot" in the right file does nothing for me, with no mods other than ammo pocket fix on.
I guess it needs an actual squad ability like Squadsight to work instead of a base thing like loot.
Juravis  [ophavsmand] 31. juli 2016 kl. 20:33
I doubt this is it and i have no idea how to help you sorry
The Great Garrus 31. juli 2016 kl. 18:34
I am not sure if this would be the right mod. I am having issue with my rocket launcher vanishing and not being able to enabled once i try to add different guns or other accessories. Any help would be appreciated
Juravis  [ophavsmand] 31. juli 2016 kl. 10:21
@Siven Not that I know of. There is nothing dangerous about editing the INI file to add the ammo pocket. Open my mod and change in the INI file Overdrive for Loot and it will give it to everyone.
Siven 31. juli 2016 kl. 10:18
Nice.

Is there a mod that adds the ammo slot to everyone (apart from rookies ofc) rather than having to manually edit the ini file which id rather not do tbh.
Juravis  [ophavsmand] 30. juli 2016 kl. 9:30
@Ian The spark in my screenshot is using a basic spark cannon.
Also having 3 pockets most definitely is a ammo pocket.
Also keep in mind the pocket will never show up on rookies, only squaddies.
Ian 30. juli 2016 kl. 7:59
Doesn't seem to work for me and I do have the ammo pocket fix. Could there be a conflict with "ammo and vest slots"? After I remove that mod I don't see ammo on any soldiers (even though I edited defaultgamedata.ini based on your instructions), but I do see them having three utility slots.

Also, your screenshot shows a Spark without a heavy weapon. Is that from some other mod?
