The screenshots are just from an older version of Starbound, where it's easier to see what this does to the stars/planet layout.
This mod has updated far more recently than Starbound itself, so how could this be outdated?
If you're thinking this is an interface mod... sorry, it doesn't do that. It does exactly what the description tells you it does.
The UI in the screenshots isn't from the mod, it's from an older version of Starbound
Yes it is, despite what you say.
Doing a mod for the old UI might be possible, but you gotta deal with things they added like encounters in a solar system. The old one isn't very optional for things like that, just planets.
Hope this helps! Remember, if you are lost or stuck, the Lab Directory will save your hide (but you have to have the tools present in-game for it to register and sort through what is possible with what materials).
However, if you know how the various processes work, you can get by this with a little effort.
First off, get by hook or crook the ability to unlock the trees until you get basic electricity with the first electric machines. Set them up with *two* alternator generators (you can link up the crusher to two of them for the needed 6W). Go digging, and if you find sand underground, great! If not, you can crush almost every stone type you find into sand...and sometimes it will yield silicon that way.
I'm Asking because I was thinking of playing the game again with a fresh universe with this mod in mind, and I'm not sure if Maple32's planets would generate properly with it, if at all.
I guess I'll find out :)
Yes the compatibility is baked into Arcana itself.
