I found a glitch where when you first reboot the ship the Hylotl's SAIL looks like the Apex's SAIL. It's only for a second but I thought I should share that bug.

Ok so i just learned that if you change the color of any race's ship with a mod your Racial AI will be set back to default so keep that in mind folks, so keep the ships the vanilla colors and you be fine

There ars many reasons why direct file linking (aka instant downloads) is forbidden in most spaces of the internet, my reason to point this out here is just that i accidently haven't checked the address carefully and clicked on it thinking it leads to the mod (description) page ;-)
My accident is truly my fault, but propper linknaming or a clear hint to be a file source link could have prevented that aswell ;-)
(silly ones might forget to check link adresses, but a big " DOWNLOAD " sign is hard to overread!)

So, i dont know if this was asked yet, but is there a version that gives the other races access to each other's SAIL sprites? because I would really love all of my characters to just have the Glitch's wizard sail, but not have to be Glitch them self

Nope. It's an alternate version of the same mod.
It won't break anything if you install both though.

Not possible. That might be another mod's doing. This mod literally only changes the visual and nothing else.

Note: Deleting didn't do any game-breaking bugs to me (as far as I know), but did make the intro text different. Now the "reboot your system" text awkwardly requires player interaction to get through, and the explanation that earth has been destroyed is completely skipped, except for the quest window, obviously. Just thought I'd warn anyone if that's a intergal part of your character's story!

I love this mod, probably one of the first I subscribed to. The glitch and novakid AI are probably my favorite out of them- Thank you so much for doing this.

I just downloaded this mod and it doesn't seem to work. The icons show up on the terminals but when I use my SAIL system, the old icons don't show up. It's just the human talking head.

it should, just a sprite swap,destructive, not constructive, meaning little to no coding. (although does means it outright replaces files i think?)

IMO, if the species were intelligent enough to modify an entire ship, they would be intelligent enough at least to swap out the portrait of an representation of an AI.

The lore (or what I read from it) does state that florans mostly steal technology, also that they're dumb, but they still manage to hotwire and fly ships into orbit around planets and not crash all the time (also the fact that they invaded the Hylotl home planet at one point, probably using ships?) but they DO (again) "hotwire" and "steal technology" so it should be possible for every race (no matter how "Dumb" they're believed to be) to re-code lots of things, including the avatars the AI use!
I still think florans should have had a better AI portrait...
