I don't think these mods work with 1.38 or 1.39 without an update from my experience. Bugs, no sound, crashes.

can anyone tell me what exact engine and transmission you must have for it to sound like a real volo? mine does not work!

@frostywinters a few back Volvo did test the FH in a few select places in north america, mostly to compare the electrical system (we did get the Euro5 2011 model tested in Quebec back in 2015)

But Volvo still is not planning to sell the FH in north america

Or better yet, bring over your drivetrain mod from ETS2 and make that compatible. Those DCTs are pure sweetness in their own right.

Before you say Volvo doesn't sell FH trucks in NA, I actually saw an FH in 2012-style on the road a few years back. He pulled up behind me at a traffic light near my home. I live in MD and it had a MD manufacturer tag. That was before I knew Volvo had a engine & transmission plant in Hagerstown, MD.

It could, but it also causes problems when adding and removing the mod, so it will stay as it is.

Ok, I got it. But is it pissible to do the way when the SCS gearboxes just will disappear when I use "Drivetrain's" engines or gearboxes? (I think that commands such as "conflict_with, suitable_for" can solve the problem)

You tried to pick the SCS gearbox. unfortunately, my engine+gearbox combo will work only with gearboxes I provide

Hello, Galimim. I have a problem with SCS Volvo VNL. There is a crash when I trying to install one of I-Shift transmissions. Here is a part of log just before the crash:

for SCS VNL: EPA 17 engine (Blue icons) use ETS2 sound and EPA 13 (Green icons) the sound is stock scs sound.
The rest are using what mod is using originally, usually it is some version of reworked or just copy/paste ETS2 sound.
And yes ETS2 sound is a bit quieter, but the newer trucks should be a bit quieter

Someone can get me out of doubt and only to me because all the sounds of the engines I hear very low not if it is a bad configuration or the MoD has that audio error because my headphones work very well

Changed what sound the SCS VNL uses for D11 and D13 EPA 2017 engines. It goes back to ETS2 sounds because they are the closes to the real thing we have right now. In time I plan to move all the other trucks to the same configuration

So checking back on the shifting. Anyone else have the iShift transmissions shifting up through each gear, regardless of load or throttle position? It does not skip gears as I notice in the 670.

Hi Galimim - Thanks for the reply. I've not changed my shift mode from "real automatic". The Ardeth 670 with i-shift does indeed skip as expected with this mod in place. I'll check it again to be sure but just wanted you to know in case there was anything to check on your end.

1) I am using stock sounds from ETS2
2) I can not effect shifting apart from shift speeds. Check your gearbox mode settings

Great truck, awesome options. 2 things I notice:
1. Sound level is very low. Turn signal indicator louder than the engines in the cab
2. The i-Shift is not so "i". It runs up through every gear, regardless of load or throttle position. No gear skipping at all which makes acceleration a bit longer than necessary. Any ideas on this?

No sound for the engines was also fixed for me when putting this mod on top priority.

You might need to buy the truck again. It is an SCS problem

I am not touching textures so not this mod

I don't know if it is this mod or the VNL mod but it makes my mirrors red and say "Texture not found." on my 2012 Volvo FH16 mod.

for further clarification Aradeth has a VNL availible for both ATS and ETS, so i was asking for the workshop sub but then remembered that both use the same files and just installed the mod from SCS forums and works just fine, so nvm me. just saying hi!

For VNL yes, because VNL is generally available only in US

im here just wondering why this is only avalible as an ATS mod and no ETS2 version to be seen in the workshop? did i miss something?
