@Cpt. Obvious It's completely compatible, but none of the units it adds will use the edited ragdoll physics at the moment.

yes you do, if you have this mod you have a Sectopod ragdoll, and the Gatekeeper is not a problem caused by this mod, that is a vanilla mod

I got no Sectopod ragdoll? Also for the Gatekeeper the ambient sounds stays when it dies.

Major development update, I feel the new Sectopod ragdoll is ready for use, as a consequence the things legs fall off when it explodes, but I think this one looks fantastic, would anyone want me to make a quick video to show the progress

almost finished the new Sectopod, it is far improved, panels can fall off and move, as well as the fact the legs are far less glitchy, they *should* not bug out if the sectopod is standing, however I am encountering physics bugs, so it won't be ready until I finish it, a bug fix is also coming, currently Mecs aren't actually using their new ragdoll, I will also be releasing, the LWS Muton Elite, Drone, and Sectoid Commander, I also will be making a patch to allow the Centurion to work again

@Rex we plan to release it once we fix it, on a side note, I have found out why the sectopod glitches when dying standing up

If you ever find the oppurtunity to upload the "without death animations" version, I would really appreciate it despite lacking blood and sound. I realize that this would mean taking your time, so apologies in advance. Some of the animations (especially when grunts suddenly backflip) reaaally breaks immersion.

I have plans to include LWS new Alien Units, as well as make a mod that makes the Advent Units use Advent weapons rather than reskinned Xcom weapons

I'd suggest ask Advent Avenger he is far better at code than I, he taught me what I know, he alters abilities constantly :)

well actually... we have been trying to remove them for quite a bit, but we can't get the blood and sounds to work if we do that, we are trying :)

Really lovin' your work guys! If it's not any trouble perhaps make an optional mod where bodies(particularly advent and xcom soldiers) just flop down when they die, instead of doing their scripted death animations?

Which reminds me, nothing revolutionary on the animations front however I managed to successfully swap out an ingame package for a new one. That's not related to this mod in the slightest but I'm exploring that area of modding.

Great new everyone, I may have found out how to fix the Setopod at long last, don't get your hopes up yet, it requires us completely redoing the ragdoll, it may still not work correctly, but it should be an improvement in any case

You could do if you edited all the ADVENT units UPK's to give the archetypes the human death handler, but that would require downloading the mod tools and that's quite the hefty download.
