I didn't like the overall design and balancing of LW2 so I'm trying vanilla for the first time.
[SoldierFatigueUpdated.UIPersonnel_LivingQuartersFatigue]
Y_POSITION = -50
in XComSoldier_Fatigue.ini, XComFatigue_Settings_Defaults.ini, and %USERPROFILE%\Documents\My Games\XCOM2\XComGame\Config\XComFatigueSettings.ini
The former two files are in the game's workshop directory, the latter being in user space. I can't make the Y axis setting change the living quarters text.
While I don't know unreal 3.5 (or any version) scripting language, I can stick a fork in an electrical socket like the best of them. I found your LivingQuarters_Listener.uc source, and it looks like the text that is drawn over the semi-transparent box has a hardcoded relative position to the box
DisplayText.SetY(BGBox.Y + 10)
which is not user-editable in the compiled *.u script.
Like most of my remaining mod niggles, I'll need to probably configure the SDK to make this change if my OCD won't calm down.
There's also a chance that those X/Y coordinate can be adjusted by the MCM if you're using that. Genuinely don't remember. Apologies.
I'm using this with Vanilla XCOM2, no conflicts in AML, and the fatigue panel in the living space is not aligned with the names. https://i.imgur.com/XvPBDMw.png (This is probably due to my aspect ratio being 16:10 instead of 16:9, not a big deal)
I thought this would be an easy fix by modifying the Y_Position variable under [SoldierFatigueUpdated.UIPersonnel_LivingQuartersFatigue] in your mod's XComSoldier_Fatigue.ini, but that doesn't do anything. I also tried putting the setting in your defaults ini file, but also did nothing.
Is there a way to change the text or panel alignment in your mod?
I just finished "Shen's Gift" with 56 turns under everyone's belt and the fatigue is around 4 days (checked settings and sure enough i have 20 days scaling with 12hrs as the next slider)
Haven't really pinned down a suspect mod yet.
My most recent acquisitions are:
Don't Point At Me
Clean Camera Angles Fix
Change National Languages
Disable UI Distortion Effect
qUIck_FIX & SwappImg
*frowns* jeeez, i hope it's not quick_fix/swappimg
I rarely use the alternative launcher, but i'll fire it up and see if it spots anything wierd. uhm...nope. but, then again, i don't really trust that launcher much for anything subtle.

as for the other problem i posted about earlier...hmmm...i'll keep an eye out once i get 6+ roster
http://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1126850653 (after exiting that screen, then clicking mission on map almost immediately)
It would be neat, i totally agree. Although i bet it's impossible mod wise, unless the author hacks the code bigtime.
Also it would be neat if there was some kind of periodic message to remind me to move soldiers out of barracks resting slots, I just put guys in there and forget about them for weeks :)
Note I play vanilla modded, not WOTC and not LW2, if that matters.
Sorry about that problem but if you don't assign a soldier to do two jobs at once then it shouldn't occur. I wish that I could get a soldier to leave the barracks when they are done recovering from fatigue but that would require completely rewriting how fatigue works. Apologies.
One suggestion i would make is that, like the wounded to active soldiers, there would be a notification that the soldier is rested up (or at least the ones that are put into the living quarters). Speaking of which, could you add in that the ones put into the living quarters are automatically removed when the fatigue is gone? Would be great to know if i can put in a new person to rest up faster.
I'm using it with Scanning Sites Plus and Improved Mission Variance so I don't have a quite vanilla mission breakdown. Oh, and I added Configurable Mission Timers after I started using A Better AI. Wuss, see above.
Anyway.
With all those mods I've been playing about with the settings, and MCM support is just fantastic for that so thanks for that. I was wondering if it would be possible to allow the "SCALING_PENALTY" to be less than 24? I've been thinking of making it maybe 6 hours per turn. I think I could change it in the MCM folder INI but I'm not sure if that would be reset each time I open the MCM options pane for this mod. Or maybe each time I open MCM.
This adds good depth to the game so I have to build up a sizable roster rather than relying on just one teams.
The soldier was wounded just because I was tired, it does not seem logical. (Sorry for my english. Google translator)
One issue maybe though is that it might bug out the Officer training slots.. My 2Lt is stuck forever in the officer training school, though I can use her and she has all the perks from 2Lt. I might have had her in fatigue resting at the same time, no idea.
Long war 2 is very difficult as is and I will be either updating this or making a compatable version but honestly I wouldn't recommend it. It would be extremely difficult.
There's a mechanic called fatigue scaling where if you start to take a really long time in a mission, soldiers will start to get extra fatigue. I cap it at 21 days so that you don't get a soldier being fatigued for several months from one mission. You can turn this off in the settings.
I'm going to turn it off by default in the next update. It can be pretty brutal in difficulty sometimes.
