YOU MAY FIRE WHEN READY.
The mod has now been fixed thanks to @jordarkelf on the Paradox forums. Enjoy!
Thanks for letting me know. Looks like I didn't update the mod properly!
Just a few errors from the Stellaris error log, nothing that really affects gameplay, but you can easily remove them if you want:
[code]
[22:30:05][lexer.cpp:69]: File 'common/name_lists/DOTT.txt' should be in utf8-bom encoding (will try to use it anyways)
[22:30:05][persistent.cpp:34]: Error: "Unexpected token: full_names_male, near line: 148
" in file: "common/name_lists/DOTT.txt" near line: 149
[22:30:05][persistent.cpp:34]: Error: "Unexpected token: full_names_female, near line: 152

@Fritzomatic: the planet naming thing where the same name comes up each time is a bug in 1.2/1.2.1. The AI can use the namelists but for players it always picks the same name.
In another game the portrait popped up for a random race, really fits in well.
Delicious Marvelous Fantastic Spooky Infidel Fancy Weird Strange Slippy Slimy Suction Sandy Purple Green Blue Brown Domination Diabolic Toxic Waste Basement Conquer Sludge .
A few more would be cool, because I am reaching the "limit" quite fast and then some sectors might have an equal name, etc.
Would be cool if anyone else adds some more (maybe someone more creative than me ;))
Thanks again for this cool species SaintDave, I love it!
The launcher automatically adds the outdated mark to mods that were built with an older Stellaris patch. It should still run fine :)
Btw; Why would this mod still be marked as outdated? Don't get me wrong, I ignore that message, and it doesn't cause me no harm, but I know it deterrs some from using this FABULOUS graphical candy.
Isn't it a rather small thing to merely add that asterix, 'cause I can't imagine any development that would make this actually outdated.
I don't really have any specific tips, there's a lot of steps and any one of them can go wrong. If I get time I will see if I can clean up that wiki page so it is more helpful.
Do you have any tips on how to create animated portraits through Maya? The Portrait Tutorial is shockingly unhelpful in that regard!
