Ahhh, that series I made was a few years ago, hard to remember but i think all it was, was just a re-start. I came to realize sometimes even though the signal showed red it was really green. a game glitch. I would save then re-boot and the signal would now be green. If you dont get the option to SPAD that is why and the coupling is the same thing. just a re-boot and it should be fixed also if that happens always clear your cache from the TOOLS menu and it should be fine. I also came to find out when making a scenario the game would sometimes make duplicate rail car numbers and would confuse everything and sometime would give the "X" tick in the task log.

Second is Yardwork Columbia Falls, when I shoved the two lumber cars to clear the wye switch and left them, when I came back later down the N leg of the wye I could not couple to the cars. They appeared where I left them, and my engines could just pass through them back and forth, but never made a joint. They were just clear of the switch, I have a screenshot (how do I send it). Started again and shoved them further beyond the switch clearance this time, and all was well. Appears to have something to do with how close they were to the switch?

The possible bugs, one is in Yardwork Whitefish Pt 2, the play prompt says don't worry about the red signal but I had game over on pass danger set and just found it a bit confusing since I couldn't call the dispatcher to pass the signal, did shut off the game over flag after two tries though. ;-)
Thought it might be worth a mention that you need that selection unmarked to be able to ignore the signal.

Ah yes, I always set a brake or two as well - I was just talking in the "real world" scenario, even with the handbrakes set when someone goes to move the loco if they were to roll back just a tad...
Anyway, that's no big deal just a mention.

Sure, i'm always online looking up info on trying to get my scenarios true to the real thing as much as possible but that info is really hard to find. As far a dropping cars i use the handbrake on the wagons before dropping them, helps most of the time.

I have one suggestion about the Yard scenarios, the ones where you wind up with a cut of cars in a track and as the last move you uncouple from the cars - I pulled a few feet away from the cut after pulling the pin which is normal, if you stay right with the cut having only pulled the pin lifter then it is possible that a little movement would drop the pin again and you'd still be tied to the cut of cars. The scenario flagged me as failing then, I believe it was because I moved a bit, and it showed in the summary that I missed a destination (stop). :-(
And if you're interested I have a couple of possible bugs I'd like to bring up, is there a place for reporting that?

You have done a great job with this series, I really like the idea of making up your own train(s). The switching adds another type of fun, vs. sometimes-long mainline runs or passenger trains.
You may not have had the fun of being the dispatcher but you appear to be having fun creating these scenarios. Thanks! I spent the last decade of my career in the back room heading up a team of former dispatchers designing, maintaining, and doing QA testing on the software the train dispatchers use. We had a good job combining dispatching know-how with software know-how to get the "programmers" to write useful, intuitive, and safe applications.

I also try to go by the proper track speeds, I love all the sidings on the Pacific Surfliner route but most are 5 mph, ugh! Wish I had the chance to do your job, thanks n0jy. :)

A fun scenario but yikes, "pass signal at danger" leaving for the lumber yard... ~2 miles at 20 MPH (restricted speed) is a bit tedious. I know the game doesn't enforce it, but I can't help but play "by the rules" (retired BNSF, former train dispatcher). :-)

Elvis56. It is there. But for some reason it lists it spelled all crazy. Not sure why it does that. But it's there. I too couldn't find it in my scenario list and had to go to the work shop to find and play it. I only noticed it after.

Sometimes you might have to give it time to add the "workshop items" but it should be in the "standard" scenarios or maybe the "workshop" tab. did you upgrade to TS2017?

As in the first comments , really nice series, now i noticed that part 4 is in my workshop but not showing up in the scenarios, i have done all the usual things, delete and re-download, clear cache, any ideas will be welcome. Thanks again RBJets
