I've been watching Hololive recently so when I saw the hunter skin with the Pp jacket, I instantly thought it was PPTenshi.

Apparently when I downloaded the dropbox version of this mod, sometimes I get a hunter that is completely black, from head to toe at every detail, similar to a shadow. Even in proper lighting like a flashlight or out in the day, it still shows that hunter skin as completely black. Any way to fix this?

the rng colours wont work correctly if you have a rng for female/male hunter. it only spawns them wearinig pink. that is all

If you activate the Fe/Male RNG mod, which gives a 50-50 chance for either sex, the dead hunter model will now be the same as the one you just killed.

Fun fact, if you put this on and the girl hunter mod on at the same time, you get a girl hunter wearing all the rng clothes. It's like a taco, inside a taco within a Taco Bell, that's inside a KFC, within a mall THATS INSIDE THIS GAME

if you cant find the folder you need to drop the vpk you download is then open your steam library and go to Left 4 Dead 2 on the left side and right click on it, then pick properties from the little drop menu, then in the properties page click the local files tab at the top of the window, then click browse local files button and that takes you to the folder path at

"C:/ProgramFiles(x86)/steam/steamapps/common/Left 4 Dead 2"

then just double click left4dead2 and then addons folder and thats where you put vpks that arent from the workshop

what that means is if you download the dropbox version then you get the vpk in your downloads folder in file explorer, then you have to move it to your folder
"C:/ProgramFiles(x86)/steam/steamapps/common/Left 4 Dead 2/left4dead2/addons"

(unless you have steam installed to a different harddrive), then it will run just make sure your not subscribed to any workshop mods for hunters at the same time, and delete it from addons if you dont want it anymore

or you can unpack the vpk and install the models into your games folders which is a true install, but thats a pain if your not comfortable with file structures so i wouldnt suggest worrying about doing it like that, and you shouldnt have to for most mods since the vpk usually works

My first person skin is the same on EVERY map, on every campain, but i remember when i first got this awsome addon, i would get differnt first person skins every time i got the hunter (even in the same misstion) and it would allso match up with the third person view, so i dont know what happen :/

Oh I forgot to say that the first person and the dead ragdoll share the same texture in a map in this RNG system,so as I said in the description,the first person and the dead bodies'skin is usually different from the third person,sorry it can't be fixed

Can i get a hand here, for some reason my first person modle is allways the same skin, but as soon as i pounce on somone and see the skin, its totaly differnt from the first person skin, is it only on certan campains it happens on, any help please?

Can you upload a True RNG version of each one of your special infected mods? I just can't deal with the flickering and changing skin issues...thanks.

It may solve the unmatching problem in some ways! xD Due to it I'm trying to modify the Per Map RNG to generate random numbers every a few seconds(can be the special infected respawn interval),so that the problem can be solved(seemingly xD as your thought the texture will change when you don't watch them)~ In some ways dead and alive objects are different,a random number is generated as soon as a alive object is created but the texture number of the dead body is already defined by Per model RNG in one map.Actually I'm not the person to write the codes,I can hardly explain the reason,if you are interested in it very much,ask the creator Ellie for more information :)

Just a thought...is it possible to add wait statement in the code so that the code pauses a little bit before it tries to generate the next random skin? I'm guessing the skin changing right after death happens because the code kicks in as soon as the special infected gets killed.

I will do some tests and run through a map several times and note how often the glitches occur and I'll let you know the results.

For me, all in your RNG addons, if I kill someone special infected, maybe like jockey with joker skin, then when it becomes a ragdoll, It will change it's skin to something else. But I don't care about it so much because this mod is awesome, but if it is possible to fix some way, then that would be really nice.

@Moe Stooge: Are you sure the flickering problem occurs every time you kill them? I do encounter it but really not too often,maybe once every 3 or 4 campaigns?:D It is because it will do a large amount of calculation to generate random numbers,sometimes the illustration will be flickering for a while before it's number is determined.
And there is a solution,to change the RNG method into Per Map version.As I said in Attention,per map rng is more stable but will take out a lot of fun.Tell me if you really can't accept it,then I will upload a per map version~

I noticed that in all your Special Infected RNG mods that when they die the model starts running through all the skins for while...can this glitch be fixed?

When you do the 5 RNG chargers, you should have one of them be the fire starter charger.

After playing like 3-5 games, I noticed sometimes that the Hunter has for example red color skin then after you kill it it turn into another skin like blue or white. Often times the hunter can't decide what skin it would wear until you kill it.

is their still a normal hunter? just asking
