Usually it is not classiest to advertise on other people's pages, but...
That's OK!
As stated at the very top of the top of the description, this mod is compatible with War Of the Chosen. Creating a second mod will only make for two versions that do the same thing except one is forwards compatible while the other isnt backwards compatible.
If you are playing WOTC this mod will work just fine despite any warnings.
You're welcome!
BEST Voice Actor for an Video Game ever, and DD ist one of my beloved games i've played ever, thank you so much for this, greetings from Germany \m/
As stated in the very first sentence above, this mod is compatible with war of the chosen despite the warning.
A WOTC version won't be released since it's already compatible. Making a new mod would be pointless as it would simply create two version one of which wouldn't work with the base game. This holds true for all voicepacks.
Thank you
@Broken Beyond Repair
Like many other people, long war mod has gotten me hyped about xcom again. This mod might get some long overdue love. The biggest obstacle has been me getting a hold of updated wayne june voice files. I feel like I should get those first before I work on this agian.
Cheers
@goriel I added no effect. I only set the quality of the .wav conversion to be 16 bits 11.5 mhz. With the ethereal aspect going on, I thought adding a radio effect would sound too distorted. I'm still considering rebuilding the mod from scratch with the higher quality sound files.
@Buttplug, I am thinking now I may create two versions. I didn't plan ahead and did most of the spliced/remixed lines from the converted files instead of from the base files. So I will have to create those again before I can upload two versions of quality.
@Big Slosh, I've added the quality question to the future update ideas list. Thank you.
@ Big Slosh, yes they are low quality. I matched the sound format of the voices as the vanilla game. I thought it fit a little bit better but I'm open to suggestions.
