Now, the issue with this is that is if an AI train has to stop at that signal, it would stop where that marker is (since the game reads the signal from the marker, NOT the signal head) and it would be blocking the line in this case or stopping behind the signal in an awkward fashion.
So by attempting to make it more realistic, you've made it less realistic and in some cases, annoying. Can't blame you for trying, but it's something you should really fix.
