Is there a way to find the audio files? The Ground Combat music seems to be a totally unique recording and I want to add it to my music library.

Although I like this compilation I do prefer the vanilla music. I deactivated this mod and all my saves are broken. I tried it multiple times to check to see if it was this particular mod that was breaking the saves, and it is. So, be forewarned that there's a distinct possibility that if you don't like this music selection, and deactivate it, it might break your saves.. :-)

The menu/popup sounds (and the various backgrounds for windows and whatnot) have to be among the most memorable I've seen and heard in games. Thanks for this.

Thank you a lot! the game is great for old x-com/ufo fans, but music is no even close to original one (dum dum dum dum you can almost feel fear of unknown enemy)

the zip file contains another zip file, thats why the modlauncher doens´t recognise the mod.
Just unzip it and put the file in the mod folder.

oh, and please remove the bulletin sound (i.e. for appearing UFOs), as much as I love X-COM, it just drives me mad

Are these only the sounds/music from X-COM UFO DEFENSE?
Reading the title, my first impression was this Mod to have a selection of files from all the various classic X-COMs. :xenoufo:

It should appear at the bottom of the mod launcher, then press install.
