In my review for Xenonauts, I wrote the following: The AI is quite stupid. Aliens (and civilians) often run around in circles, or run back and forth through a fire until they die. Your squadmates don't seem to care about friendly fire during reaction fire, so if they have a 25% chance of hitting an alien and a 65% chance of hitting a teammate, they'll still take the shot. You want to keep your machine-gunners behind you because they're not very flexible, but then you have to worry about them slaugh...

Come on marketing team, it's prime time to shift copies of this. This is still a fantastic game that easily holds up and is worth picking up at least to try before buying the sequel. A sale today would go a long way in future sales!

I'm new to Xenonauts, But I've played Old XCom,TFTD, Modded, and nuXCom games. I'm loosing multiple soldiers every mission, even from the start really, should I be playing slower or is it normal/acceptable to take losses like that?

Just curious for those who have played both... Which is better in your opinion?
