I found that the energy shield mod prevents the thing from disintergrating my own drop pod on impact entirely. It seems to be bugged to make the object invincible, and I'm not sure why. But either way, it makes it work like it does in the game and lore

Weelll... wasted a whole day trying to perfect an automatically stopped version with sensors. It's super erratic, sometimes the pod only needs 200m to stop, other times it will barely be slowed down with 900m meters start. I guess the room for human error is more effective than whatever I can do.

It just needs a couple sensors... and a LOT of testing.

That is going to be harded to get it to land automatically and to keep it the same size even harder still

Glad you like it, I love it too. I'm gonna work on getting her to work with a sensor mod so she'll automatically stop and land just right. Works alright as it is, but there's a bit too much room for human error.

i think i am now in love with this Drop pod, was testing it out going about 1000m/s still landed just fine
