it's vanilla+ so designed for vanilla but will work with overhaul mods but ck2 doesn't do load orders and instead requires dependencies.

Yeah see, the issue is that there's nothing different happening in game. None of what you listed is there. That's why I'm confused. I clearly missed something somewhere, but I don't know where I would have gone awry.

what with? there's diplomacy options to pursue lover, marry, and have a kid.
Lover, needs to be 14+ same sex of eligible culture/religion non zealous, not a lover/ex-lover, not been pursued in the last 30 days nor spurned, not a prisoner, neither party have 3 lovers already.
for marriage, needs to be an unmarried/unbetrothed same sex lover, not in prison.
Having a kid, needs same sex spouse.
All options the other party has the choice to refuse, having a kid iirc can sidestep the refusal and have a child anyway, if they accepted the proposal then after the child is born the negative opinions should be nixed, if they refused then they should stay.

Hey, IDK if this is intentional or what, but it turns out, if you use commands to make your culture dragon, the pursue and marry options don't appear. Changing back from dragon seems to clear things up, but it looks like your target also can't be dragon. Not sure why dragons would be homophobic, but whatever. I'm just happy I figured out the workaround.

@sinstar87 all the best to your efforts. Thank you. The lack of a gay marriage feature has been a big gripe for me.

should, I designed it to work from both sexes, unless the game itself blocks it from some reason like with male concubines.
