If you want to see some of the units from here they're in my Romans mod.

Otherwise as the title suggests this mod is outdated because it's only for use as assets.

how to make units working in editor? if its not updated there is no way to make units work?? :maybe channging the version of the game from enterrior

The mod will not be further updated.

You can't play with any of the units normally anyhow so there's no point in updating it.

It will now only serve as an asset pack for modders, you have been warned.

No, the mod is outdated and needs a few simple and minor user tweaks to get it working, you can find the instructions for these on the second or third pages of the comment section here.

Right click on the game in your library, properties, local files and browse game files or something like that, should be in the game's mod folder.

As stated above at the end of the description, yes. Altho you'll need to go to the mod's data folder and rename the. .xml files there, so for example you just have to rename the protox.xml to proto2.4.xml or whatever the newest version of the game is, do the same for the rest of the files there and it should work. You mean a unit's name in the editor is twitch, right? If that's it then no, it's just that the text file is getting over-written by some other text file mod you have on higher priority, plus this mod is not updated so that may be causing problems as well.

What part of I need models, animations and textures in order to make units don't you guys understand? And this is only a unit/building pack, not a full fledged expansion, I can't add any codes to the game unlike the devs.

As for the naming part as well as the protox file, they are just simply unitnameIDs, nothing in common with rocket science which is wayyy out of my league, if you spend some time on the file learning it or consult some guides (of which there are 2 for sure here by WarriorMario and one on heavengames which I cannot name atm) which explain to you what the file and all of the "gibberish" in is. I've explained the naming process is well as I could for 2 AM in the morning so pardon me if it's not clear for you.

With this I end my comment, I've provided the neccessery files for use by others and for my own, future use, what anybody does with them is non of my business, I only take credits for converting it to EE, not making it.

@AnimeCreator look for the Decay mod on the workshop, I think there is where you will find what you want, it will probably look better if you combine it with my Blood and Gore mod as well but that's up to you.

@Electroflux As I already stated this is not a gameplay adding or changing mod, it is provided as is, currently it would be very un-fun and un-balance if I was to add these units to the Greeks or Atlanteans or whoever else and would break that civ's theme. I converted for use by OTHER MODS and their respective creators, I never said maps, and I also plan on using it in the future myself to replace the Chinese after the release of the Tales of the Dragon.

Part 2:

Because of this not working immediately, I'm wondering how well this will translate into custom maps released by others. If you release a map, i'm assuming the people who want to play the map need to have the mod firstly...and that it's not compiled into the release of the map. This will be a headache for most people who want to play the map, especially with a mod that doesn't function immediately.

So enlighten me as to how this is going to be used by mapmakers, I'm curious. The models look great and I'd like to use the units but i'm not going to develop maps for people to play where it's this much of a headache to even use the mod.

Part 1:

This needs to be explained how to use better.

It's obvious that this won't work for everyone right off the bat. There is no names for the units, so it looks blank in the editor. Before that, when i had it lower on the mod status totem pole...it would just name them "mystery unit" with no model.

I realize that you mentioned that some things need to be changed to rename the units so you can display their names but you give a very vague description as to how. I opened the protox.xml file in the Data folder and it looks like a bunch of gibberish. For people who don't understand how to modify these files, this would be near impossible without instruction. However, luckily for me, I understand these types of things...to an extent. This is a long xml file that would take ages to decipher exactly where the units need to be renamed.
