help "iron ingot" (enter), it would then show the ID of the item, which is: 0005ace4.
To add 5 of this item, I'd type: player.additem 0005ace4 5 (hit enter).
They'd now be in my inventory. Hope this way helpful to those new to the dev.console/cmds.
Then type: help "item you want"
**This will show you the item's ID (with mods, ID's change, with the game's vanilla items, they're always the same ID)**
After you know the ID, type in the console: player.additem "ID" # , then enter.
{Translation- "ID" is whatever the item's ID was you just looked up, then the number of them you want, then enter and it should now be in your inventory}. Enjoy.
