Keeps causing my game to crash going into third season

@Owen: Like any editor file, you need to enable it when you start a new game. Once you subscribe to this file Steam should download it to the right place, and then when you start a new game you can turn it on by selecting "All" or "Custom" under editor data files in this dialog box. If it doesn't appear in the subsequent list, then Steam hasn't managed to download it yet and you'll have to wait (or go get it from the external link: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ezjy731251b0uu1/Worldwide%20Champions%20League_479499AA-14A5-4527-9455-6D68C62ECD48.fmf?dl=0 , then download it to your editor data folder, which should be My Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2016/editor data, if you're using Windows.)

hi, I'm fairly new to pc gaming and have never used Steam Workshop before so it could just be me being dumb and doing something stupid. (btw I have suscribed and watched videos on how to do it but nothing seems to work) can you please help and tell me what i should do to be able to use your content thanks

That's great fella.

I usually don't stray from Europe as I don't think the other continent's Champions League equivalents are as strong. This mod means I'll happily try out the likes of Korea, Australia, maybe even the USA in my attempt for world domination.

The prize money is structured similarly to the real-life CL and EL (small payouts for qualifying rounds, significant money for reaching either group stage, money for wins and draws in the group stage, money for reaching every subsequent knockout round, winning gets the largest payout of all.) I was aiming for "slightly more lucrative at the top than the real life equivalents but spreading the wealth a little more".

Running tests on the current version, the CL winner totalled slightly more than the UEFA CL winner gets (£58m vs £52m), and the World League winner totalled about twice as much as the EL winner gets (£34m vs. £15m). Conversely, just making the group stage and losing every subsequent match will total you about £11m here vs. £15m for the Champions Leagues, and about £5m vs. £2m for the World/Europa League. Honestly, doing the math I might have undershot my targets in some cases: I'll look into it for the next version.

Update: never mind it just suddenly appeared. I'm trying it out with a custom US league that replaces MLS. Will let you know how that works out!

Hey this mod look great thanks for it! Quick question: what's the filename for this mod? I'm sure through user error I'm not able to find it either in FM or FM Editor after subscribing.

nedhaggur: Given what you say about your plans, you should just be able to use this along with whatever file you make, since you're not planning on changing the MLS or USOC rules.

(An edit that replaces the MLS rules might work with this right away, or it might lead to unpredictable behaviour around who qualifies from MLS and need some complex editor work to be compatible, it's hard to be sure.)

This mod is great! Thanks so much for sharing it.

I'm hoping you can help with something I'm trying to create. I'd like to create a reserve league or enable the USL to allow MLS teams to send young, developing players to get experience without using a roster slot. Obviously I can't do this on this editor file because it's already using advanced rules. Should I try and combine it with a national rules editor file and run both simultaneously, or will that break this mod? I'd like to not break the MLS rules, if at all possible.
