a far better addon that doesn't break the hunter chopper:

maybe disabling a lua hook within the addon would fix this issue cannot be sure since i'm not a programmer. but seeing as the mod author hasn't updated this addon since 2015, everyone will have to do it themselves

I was wondering if it would be possible for you to make a seperate NPC, I'm a big fan of this addon, and it stays true to the original idea, but I wish it didn't replace the normal scanner as well.

If it bugs you that it says city scanner when you kill it, follow these simple steps: 1. Open your garrysmod folder. 2. Go to the resources folder, then go to language. 3. find the text document named nps-ents_english, and click on it. 4. The first npc should be named "npc_cscanner" and across from that it should say "City Scanner". 5. simply change the name to Combot, then save the changes and exit. That is all. You can use this to rename vanilla npcs to whatever you like.

I was playing the "Half-life 2 Campain" gamemode, just testing out your beta reskins and i found out that when the city scanner gets hit, it's damage sound it makes, makes it... speak. I know that there are sound files for the combot where "speaking" is a thing for it, but i just found it abit strange and im wondering if you'll be able to change its "speaking" thing, and i dont mind if u don't want to change it, but if there was any other beta sound that has similar sounds to the combot then plz change, cause a talking scanner is just weird! XD

wow this is the best reskin of the beta Combot, but with it's origianl sounds?! AMAZING! great work, can't wait to see all ur other beta reskins and resounds ;)
