I turned this mod off once just to see what would happen. Jeez, the game was almost unbearable. Now, if only someone could build a mod that would disable the sposor bio/history from being displayed at the bottom of the screen during the game load, I' so sick and tired reading the same thing over and over. Plus it ruins what is some pretty good artwork.

Any idea what it'd take to incorporate elements of the old Diplo system back into the game? Dismayed that I can't trade colonies, energy, or resources to other sponsors, or demand they stop harassing a station I'm trading with (on the bright side, station aesthetic now corresponds with its name and benefits; FB1 will never spawn as that weird hotel thing). Or can I, and am I just an idiot for not finding those yet?

Wait, is "I don't like the color of your shirt." an actual thing the other leaders can send to you? I've rising tide a fair bit and never saw this. Hopefully this isn't actually a thing...

Omniclast over on the subreddit for civbe told me about this mod, thank you Ryika! Can't stress how much the arsey "tweets" just top off the short-comings with the new diplo system. Hopefully it gets tweaked, until then I can at least enjoy sweet sweet silence.

@Doc: That was exactly my experience. :)
...and it gets even worse when playing with sponsor mods that don't have all custom text, because then it's one standard message used by X Sponsors. :D

At first I thought the messages were really cool and it made me feel like the AI players were actual people. But because you get them so often and they always say the same thing it just gets annoying, especially because they are all so passive agressive

I don't have Rising Tide yet - do they really call diplomatic messages "communiques"?

The weirdness of the diplomacy is basically the only thing I don't like the sound of right now.
