I should add I'll be happy to give it trial runs with existing scenarios for this version of the route when the time comes. You may be able to remove this one and simply repost the new one if everything works Also, should you have an idea of adding to Cumbernauld, the stations and signage all come with the Airdrie extension but that route was not actually added. If you have the old freeware Suburban Glasgow, you might be able to merge the track layout in from that (though the assets need to refer to the Airdrie package to be legal).

The train runs on this route today, as well as the Cumbernauld to Glasgow Queen stretch (not on this route), so once the Dunblane route is out in two weeks it may be fun to play with this route to update it once we know how.

Not to worry, found a work around by changing the points to manual, and they are in the correct position for a quick drive. Obviously not realistic, but it works. Thanks for making the upgrade, its great fun.

Hmm. Maybe uninstall this mod and reinstall? Sometimes the workshop downloads can be corrupt.

You can make them yourself Just load the build menu, select scenario tab, find the route, click new scenario and choose where you want to start, then load it and choose the trains you wanna place down.

It should do yeah. Most of the OHLE uses ECML London to Peterborough. So you'd get a few missing wires on a couple of viaducts but the rest should be there.

This is a good idea. I'll see if I can look into it sometime. Shouldn't (fingers crossed) be related to the track files therefore not breaking scenarios. In which case I might delete the QDs and start again because I've learned a lot since.

If you know of a way to edit it to work, you can always release a patch and update that into the description, separately hosted somewhere. It may break other scenarios, but it's an option I've seen done, I think on Danny's routes before.

I really apologise about this. Seems to be an issue that I was unfortunately unaware of at the time. The other issue is given the way the workshop works, I can't actually fix it either.

May I suggest looking on the workshop for scenarios that other people have made?

In quick drive I get a constant red signal at the platform leaving Glasgow... then another red signal at EN588 just before Bathgate. No other traffic on the line, and I needed to tab to get past both. Also, at Bathgate, I'm diverted onto the the other line for no apparent reason, then straight back again.

Sounds interesting. I'll at some point be working in route purchases, but I'm in no hurry to go into the newest content yet as I know workshop stuff tends to look at older ones most of the time (the classics).

I'll probably still get it at some point as it does have its own scenario pack, locos, and such, but if that section of route is actually eaten into another route and basically given to you for free anyway, I can understand why not to get it.

I'll have to look up North London Line and see how that looks assuming I have the DLC for it. Right now I'm looking up all the old DLC I can't acquire so I know what scenarios need to have RW Tools used on them for modifications to play them. LOL

I was thinking about making a new version, as a OHLE pack recently came out with the correct OHLE series for this route. I've got an on going project for the North London Line to get finished first though.

I'd recommend not bothering buying the GEML as I essentially discovered the ECML ones were better but back then, didn't quite realise until it was too late. The GEML are only used in a very small section of the route. As for the Airport Link, I never used that to make this route.

Any update on doing a new version of this, Joe? Just seeing it for the first time but obviously would like to see it in a "today" form as it's been a few years. I don't have London-Ipswich or the Airport Link yet, but I'd get them to try this full route out, especially as a Quick Drive. You should be able to grab the files from the DLC folder and create a new version, I think, since this one is final?
