Hi XeroHour, unfortunately, I sold my minis, so no longer have access to the pics.

These are great! Any interest in doing all the dials? This would make play so much faster.

These are pretty impressive... kind of off topic... but I wonder if someone could make a proper game of Tzol'kin with this concept?

It is made from 2 disclike objects (the top one has a hole in it) and a third collider object, which is a small cylinder. The collider is used on the top object, so that you can select the bottom disc "through" the top one.

A Joint is used to connect the top to the bottom, with a "1" in the Y Axis for the spinner.

How do you create a joint like this? I would like to create all the maneuver dials but cant figure out the joint.

hope so.. :)

Very cool! But it spins sometimes when you flip it. Does adjusting the friction affect things at all?

Hi ForAiur,
I originally made the one fo 40K Conquest (no Idea how to link to it!)
I am glad someone else has been making the dials, as I don't have many of the ships to scan !

For these, I hadn't set the drag and torque correctly (so they kept spinning), but the conquest one seemed to work so much better (but I did make that back in july!)

Ok, then sorry. I only knew that some guys tried to do maneuver dials for about 4 months and it didn't get out of beta. A nice person with a lot of experience explained to me how to do them. Because he was the only one that ever managed to do them, I thought this was copying his idea. Sorry if that was not correct.

What were your settings? He told me to do this:

ForAiur, was that first comment "taken your advice" aimed towards me ?
Credit for whom (I assume either yourself or vorlagen) ?
I would quite hapilly give credit to someone, if I had at least been inspired by them, but I was in a twitch channel (With Duke Nukem) and decided to make one, considering I had already previously made dials for Warhammer 40K Conquest :)

I am honoured that you seem to have taken my advice from the other X-Wing comments. Why not give credit? For the others:

"Here are all the parts you need:

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/226592/TTS/X-Wing/maneuver%20dials/Vorlagen.rar

TOP position in the .png files is always the TOP of the part of the dial, lower circle in the .png is the bottom part of that dial part.

After you put together the dial you have to drag a box around it ALL or you will just save the upper part of the dial to your chest instead of the whole working dial.

You should hit - twice or thrice after you made the dial so it has the perfect size to play X-Wing."

wow.... that is pretty impressive!! I don't know how the hell did you pull that off, but I'm glad to see that there are people out there that are smart enough to do it. :) Insta Favourite

I had to change the mass of both dials (top and bottom) to 25 for the bottom, 50 for the top so that they wouldnt just "spin" when touched, sometimes they would spin slightly and almost change a movement.
Garzini  [作者] 2015 年 10 月 3 日 上午 12:43
they don't work quite the same way as the conquest ones, for some reason that I can't quite fathom!
Duke Nukem 2015 年 10 月 2 日 下午 10:58
Had to copy the dial and then load my game and paste it in my game to save it. Otherwise if you save to chest it, you will have to save both parts to chest (bottom and top of the dial) but issues with loading it from chest, it glitches out into the table.
Copy and paste worked just fine.

Thanks for stopping by the stream and actually making these! If we play tomorrow then I will gladly use them!
