causing errors in AddChemReaction and DestroyChemReactions when trying to save. So I disabled this and problems go away... except now no waste processing to begin the process of making fertile soil.

Question before I decide if I want to use the mod; does this make sure you can't poop too often? Based on your food input or a certain duration of time? And how many times does it take to fill the barrel up completely with waste?

So, I like the idea of this mod but right now, if I start a game with this loaded, any refinery that doesn't come loaded with the map (preloaded ones don't seem be be affected but ones I craft later are) the refinery screen will not be usable and the game is usually unable to save afterwards, resulting in a crash. I've tested this with the large refinery.

This mod causes the materials refinery to run without the need for power.

the option for converting the wast is not there for me thats the only problem for mme apart from the game not saveing

Well the idea is not to poop alot, I doubt players wil do that. Poop few times and let it ferment making methane.

Maybe you can add a Material like Carbon Monoxide which is actually part of fermentation

@zooxss, soil already has a recipe so that would not work, although i do already have the "split human waste" thing implemented

What you should do is: Add Soil and Let it Ferment thus creating = Methane slowly

hehe... If you use the resource cables mod and link the crapper to a tank outside... you poop MUCH more than 130 units ;) Let's just say you can fill the LARGE storage tank in a matter of minutes... I think someone better re-vist the ex-lax based nature of pooping on Mars... I can technically produce more waste than my mass per second... If only I could do this on Earth right now.. I'd loose about 100 pounds...

@crazycupmuffin i question how you got that idea, buuuut... we could probably extract protein from it, and maybe a bit of water, but not much else. also it tends to not be safe to drink

What useful stuff can we extract from semun........................................i'm curious. Also hypothetically speaking is it safe to drink it? I...........have this friend who drank it...........i'd just like to know if I should be worried......................for him.

My friends were unable to join when I had this mod installed.. they installed the mod too but were unable to join, message says:, add on CRC/version mismatch.
Any one know how to sort this please? I also can't uninstall the mod myself.. it just won't go!

I liked, but I think 130 units of poop each time you goes to toilet is too much. It is almost 20 Kg of poop!
This makes the game too easy!

Step 1: Create and place toilet. Step 2: Place an empty resource barrel on the back of the toilet. Step 3: Sit on toilet. (You'll poop automatically.) Step 4: Remove the no longer empty resource barrel. (Should now say human waste.) Step 4: Place 4 empty resource barrels and your barrel of human waste on to the materials refinery. (Make sure to place them on the correct sides.) Step 5: Select your empty barrels in the refinery menu and your barrel of human waste. The reaction should appear in the center of the menu. (Alternatively, you can find it in the reactions list directly. It should be at the bottom.) Hope that helps. :)

went i poop in one of the japanese smart toilet and pick up the resource barrel (it contain human waster) then i put in the greenhouse and it fill up some pile of poop and it can work has a human poop soil :)

Recycled water is usually cleaner then the water we get on Earth. Plus in that environment...well I would not complain if that is the only way to get your water back. :-)

On Mars, you don't want to know where your water's from...

OK i figured it out.

Can someone tell me how i use it in the refinery. I have put the waste on it and five empty barrels but nothing happens.

Now I can make water in orbit senarios for my 0g maps! woooo

How do i use the waste in the rifinery?
