@masterChef it isn't a dragonborn mod, so no. I haven't been modding lately. If I get time I will add it as a mod. Or you can give it a shot. This mod is not very difficult to make oddly enough. Best of luck if I can't get to it.

I have one very specific question before I download this mod.
Does this affect the Bound Dagger spell from Dragonborn? And if it does, will I still get my damage multipliers from my Sneak tree? (running a assassin/mage)

@Flinch ok i kinda missunderstood the description and a mod that increases the skills of both um isnt a thing its a game mechanic and sorry if you completely didnt understand alot of what i said i was tired ^^ i mean im still tired but for some reason im completely awake at night and sleepy as hell during daytime also i did read the desc and thought it said it increases conjure tree but took the weapon part out heh we all make mistakes more so when we're tired as a bear when we get bothered to much and miss hibernation lol

@NightmareMadness I'm not sure you've read the description. The idea is to keep your level low, avoid cheating, and focus on what your character wants to do. I have specified that I didn't want to increase the weapon skills so that my level stayed low. This helps to keep enemy monsters from leveling too quickly. If you want more information read the description. I don't want to rewrite it here. If you want to make a mod that increases both it wouldn't be too tough. I wish you luck with it.

if it works as a summon and not for both weapon and summon um you're basically making it a summon instead of a bound weapon the point in summoning bound weapons is to increase both conjuration and whatever weapon your working on so onehanded/twohanded/marksman

Flinch if this mod is suppose to work 2 in 1 like one handed and conjur i can see how that would help however how exactly is it so difficult to just add a mod that can give you as many perk points as you want? xD i mean really there's a mod out there that actually gives you whatever number of perk points you want so all you would have to do is work on the skill tree or just cheat the system and do player.advskill conjuration # and so on so forth

@ChickenMan No prob. Please do tell me if you see that it doesn't allow for increase in weapon damage. If it doesn't it should be an easy fix in that mods code, where it increases the associated damage output to the skill of the held weapon. Since this mod also scales your damage output you should have that naturally, but you can just change the associated skill of their mod to conjuration. And I understand the sadness of bound stuff in this game. It was not nearly as cool as Morrowind. It's been a trade up though. My opinion.

Yeah, turns out it was the loading order. Not sure if the damage still scales (sure hope so) but now i get no more one handed exp :) thanks for making this!

I just checked , appereantly i have one mod that scales bound weapon damage to my conjuration skill. I hope taht doesn't cause the issue because vanilla bound weapons tend to outlive their usefulenss rather quickly :/

@ charlesIsimons I haven't noticed this problem. CTD (crash to desktop) is common with a large number of mods. I believe it is script extender that fixes the issue. If not that, then I'm not sure, but the couple of users I have using it on a regular basis haven't given me any news along these lines. The other thing you may consider is using ts5edit. It can tell you where there are overlaps and allow you to make patches. Hope all of that helps.

This mod has all of a sudden started crashing my game... I could be wrong that it's your mod, but now when I cast my Boud Sword spell, my game compleatly crashes. :steamsad:

@achloryn maybe you misunderstand. Attacking with the weapon now gives conjuration exp. Though yes, casting the bound spells are great for leveling conjuration as well

I don't mean to sound rude, but this mod doesn't make sense to me. You DO get conjuration experience from bound weapons. Hell, Bound Sword gives you the 3rd highest conjuration XP short of master spells.

@Iron Block Games. I didn't because it would be be more work and I feel like it might be a little too powerful. But I get where you are coming from. If I ever made that version I'll link it.

This would be nice but I'd maybe make an alt version, one that levels the base wep skill, and also conj. Some of us like myself make battle mages and we do level the wep skills up. So a version that only levels conj up, and one that say levels conj, but also levels the base wep skill (perhaps a touch slower than using a normal wep) be ideal.

Finally something that helps me to level up the conjurstion skill instead of using lame spells from PerMa :steamhappy:

@Keepo It's great for boosting lower levels especially. I've noticed slowing around the 60+ skill range. So it usually levels a little slower than weapon skills and destruction. Which is nice. But it also depends on how much you hit with it. I use it as a back up and so I don't need it nearly as much at higher skill levels. You could be the type in heavy armor dual weilding those suckers.

@Atmos Defiler I think what I may do is calculate skill increase and damage off of conjuration and maybe half skill increase to one handed. I'm not sure how I would go about doing just half of the skill increase without a lot of bugs. If you have ideas on that please tell me. Secondly, I wonder how many people want their one handed up at all? It speeds up leveling while giving back so little to the conjurer concept. That was one of my main hang-ups.

sure i get what your meaning by it would slow leveling down quite a bit, but at the same time, i hardly ever really get to level my conjuration, i occasionallyuse the flame/storm and frost thrallsbut never to warrent any decent gains, most likley gonna take this mod cause im tired of being able to legendary and get back those useless perks i never use

@Atmos Defiler It's really not a bad idea. I had considered some things like this, Half of each but both would level very slowly at that point. I thought about doing both at normal speeds, but that also doesn't seem like a good idea for a solid balance in the game. I would say it might not be a good idea for people that don't want to level conjuration or put perks into conjuration. Other than that it's been a blast, you can level and strengthen your bound weapons and conjured creatures in the same tree. Usually you need a way to stay alive, haha, but the bound weapon actually makes a great backup for spells at that point. Thanks for the comment. :)

how about instead of giving just one type of experience try to split it so that you get half of the usual experience between weapon and conjuration skill?

@ Fine. Honestly, I could see it either way. The making of this mod was simply with the idea that they aren't the same as normal weapons. That's what I was trying to say with the statement. Not that anyone was wrong. Developers had one idea. I had another is all. Either way you feel about it is cool with me. Thanks for the comment. :)

But it does make sense. After you summon it, it's really no different from any other sword/bow/axe, so it makes perfect sense for it to raise the relevant weapon skill when you use it.
