A way to fix this ? Set speed normal at start then accelerate ? Or different speed for different ship ?
I fly allways allone, only calling them if needed and this squad can wait savely nearly everywhere ;)
i never have issue with this if they using the drone for normal tasks
for me, i don't bother or care what my other station trader ships are, because they *don't* do *cargo collect mode*
in this game, u only need one trader ship in-squad for cargo collect mode, that is, only 1 trader ship.
I think this is not really an option!
But I will give it try with edited numbers and slow the drones down till they work without problems.
Did you try the Titurel with other speeds?
I use modified and specialized Titurels for every station and have round about 30 of them as a little reserve, cause I love to capture them and trained my marines by capturing Titurels ;)
i think the stuck is likely some bad polygon docking section on Titurel, as this is my initial mule, and stuck is common with it.
In universe acceleration is the result of thrust to mass and topspeed is only limited by the amount of energy and the same for maneuverability (maneuvering thrusters).
But a gameengine can't handle that!
So the KI has to work with acceleration and topspeed = thrust to mass (that's why an empty cargodrone is faster than a loaded one and maneuverability is limited by the dimensions to prevent collisions.
A cargodrone has very small engines cause it's only a workhorse and nothing to fight or to be used in a fight. Make them a bit faster to reduce the time will be ok, especially when all ships are flying with an enginemod like it is in my game, but make them to fast cause they are small is not balanced in game or real universe.
